Toy or Daily Driver?

How many of you drive your Blackwood or Mark LT as a daily driver?
I use my Blackwood as a weekend toy to drive to car shows or Sunday drive. Very seldom drive it during the week. Some might say its a waste to use a truck this way but I always enjoy firing up the Blackwood on the weekends.

Did you ever hear the story about your BW? Why so few miles? Someone store it in their garage for he last 10 years? I saw your truck in Plano when it was for sale. Looked perfect with such low miles.

I do not know. It was registered to a lady there. the interior is nearly perfect and the outside has some surface scratches that I hope a buffer will resolve. I added wheels and boards and a video/dvd/back up camera. I really enjoy the truck so far. I wish I knew the story. The engine compartment is spotless. so how do you aquire the surface scratches with everything else showroom new???? I intend to call her to inquire.

Some millionaire owned my BW before me. Ive been tempted to call him too and ask him how the seats were scuffed up. I recently had them reconditioned to new.

Very, very scarce, I've seen only 1 in Tijuana, and 2 in Ensenada, one being mine , the other one makes me cry every time i see it, the lady that owns it has it full of dents, scratches and dirty as hell...

Very few were sold in Guadalajara, Mexico city, Monterrey, Puebla, thats why a 10 year old model still turns heads.

Sometimes another one has been seen around, but with California license plates, and thats about it.

Did you buy your BW in Mexico or USA? Just curious what they sold for (In Mexico) when you bought it 9 years ago.

Also, Can I ask what you do in Mexico? I saw a few of your photos. Looks like and export business. I went to Cabo last summer. I always enjoy visiting Mexico. Sites, Beer and Women all good down there!

My Dad bought the Blackwood new in 03 (03 model in Mexico), he paid 54k, sold it to me in 2008, RELUCTANTLY, this was the only vehicle to last more than a year with him.

And yes, my business deal with merchandise importing from around the world, and distributing the goods all over the country, sounds fancy, but in reality we are really struggling, in Mexico we have a lot of regulations, hence the need of business like mine.

And you're absolutely right, Cabo it's a fascinating place, only thing i dislike it's the corona beer, rather have an ice cold TECATE.
