And yes, my business deal with merchandise importing from around the world, and distributing the goods all over the country, sounds fancy, but in reality we are really struggling, in Mexico we have a lot of regulations, hence the need of business like mine.

And you're absolutely right, Cabo it's a fascinating place, only thing i dislike it's the corona beer, rather have an ice cold TECATE.

Interesting on how they do cars different in Mexico such as your 2003 Blackwood. No 2003 inn the states though. I remember we we had a Monte Carlo with a 305 V8 during the 80s but I believed Chevy offered the Monte Carlo
with a 350 in Mexico. Always wanted to get my hands on one of those.

They tend to do the cars somewhat cheaper, the wife drives a 2010 sentra, the mexican version only has two airbags and the rear brakes are drums...

Also, i believe the blackwood's sold here in Mexico are leftovers from the USA, otherwise there is no explaining why mine is serial 156 and sold as 03, not 02, luckily, the only thing missing it's the navigation system.

Always loved the montecarlo and some cutlass from the 80's (we also had a regal type-t ), and just bought an 85' el Camino, 350 v8, 3 speed auto, for $1000, needs a lot of work, but have plenty of time.

Toy... 08 Mark LT. Doesn't see rain, snow, cold weather. It sits in a garage covered until the nice summer days. Even then really only drive it for special occasions.

My wife or I drive our BW almost daily. The weather is usually nice in Orlando.

I bought mine 5 yrs ago from an owner of a Ford dealership in GA named Wayne Blackwood. He had warehoused with the other trucks in his collection. It had <4000 miles on it when bought and will turn 40000 first of the year. I didn't buy it to let it sit!
Looked like new when I bought it. Still looks great.

Either

Never driving a rare vehicle at all is a sin to me! They were made to be driven.
only driven occasionally makes perfect.
Since a Blackwood IS a car (that looks too much like a truck) don’t think of it like a work truck in use!
‘course, I will DD mine, but I drove (Everywhere) a 48 F6 COE for several years,
so I’m know for USING my stuff!
