Been creeping for awhile decided it was time to jump out of the shadows.

I bought my father in laws blackwood last fall
It has 52k miles on it and it is a Nieman Marcus edition. #32/50.

I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with upgrading the electronic stuff in it? Like nav and stereo rear seat entertainment. I am looking for ideas.

Not much. I was only available to order from the Nieman Marcus Christmas catalog it has an entertainment center in the back and a 12 volt heater cooler in the back. It also came with some goodies like a blanket and razor. Everything else is the same I think

Owned my blackwood for over 9 years. I have around 237k miles, and still runs strong. Have replaced the cover module once under warranty, and just purchased another replacement unit due to it going out again.

Have a set of 20' OEWheels Harley Davidson replica's on the way, and will freshen up the paint job. As you can tell, I enjoy my BW and won't to keep it a few more years!!!

Hi,

It would be nice if posters included the last 4 digits of their vin so we could follow the production dates and perhaps issues.

Mine is 1110.

Ahh, I see. Thanks for that info. Always interesting to see what vendors have taken these trucks and have 'modified' them. Nautica (clothing brand) had a Mercury Villiger van for a while... I think that was factory though.

hi guys... been absent a while.. Nickelmania ....sorry for not replying..
I still got mine...still love it... Air ride hasn't ever worked.. got side swiped a few years back Body shop did a bit of damage to the interior.. rear passenger side door panel vinyl was ripped , tore off in big chunk... piece missing. i need to get seats redone....BUT..as you all know..interior was not like the navs... no body make a upholstery kit... Like katskins.. I would love to know if anyone out there has ever re-upholstered theirs... I put 22" Lexani's on it with two out the passenger side stainless exhaust.... wanted to do side pipes but no one makes side pipes that long... I would like to lower it a couple inches... Go old school Hotrod Lincoln look ...

I just got my Blackwood about 2 months ago. Been trying to get it perfect as the interior and body is great.
Still have a small issue with engine which the dealer says to wait for a year or so and get a new engine and I think thats what I will do. Unless my fuel mileage gets bad.

I was at 11.5 but after resting cpm I am at 10. I ordered a programmer to install a new tune and that should help with my mpg.

I Love the Lincoln Blackwood-actually I love almost all Lincolns!!

Hi!

What programmer you did you get?, and if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost?

Thanks!

Anyone have a link for blackwood repair manual

I have a clicking in my center console that sounds like a vent redirect that is constantly clicking like its stop isnt registering. And since parts are so easy to find I figured I better look at the proper way to see this so I dont break something.
