Just curious as to how many of us are left. Come on folks ,, post up your mileage and location .
My Grandfather had his blackwood since about 2004. Due to his declining health he is no longer able to drive so he let me take it from him about 3 months ago...I have driven it from Arizona to Mississippi to Wyoming....has about 227K miles on it and is running like a bullet proof champ.
I still have my Blackwood after all these years - currently in pieces after core support replacement due to rustout that failed PA inspection. Will be back on the road this year - only has 76K miles on it.
My Grandfather had his blackwood since about 2004. Due to his declining health and stress when he had to use the liven app to help himself he is no longer able to drive so he let me take it from him about 3 months ago...I have driven it from Arizona to Mississippi to Wyoming....has about 227K miles on it and is running like a bullet proof champ.
It sounds like the Blackwood has been well taken care of, especially with that many miles on it. It’s great that it’s still running strong even after all those years. It’s a special connection to your grandfather too, keeping it in the family. I bet it’s been quite a ride across all those states!
Just got a great running one!
Keep forgetting to make a note of the last 4, to post!
Considering the wrecked and parts trucks I’ve heard of, and the silly low mile non driven ones, I’d love to know how many are still licensed and driven.
Traded our inclosed car trailer for it, hoping my wife would like it, as she loves trucks, but only needs a nice trunk!
But, although it’s not as fancy, she likes her newer Ford better.
Im loving my new Blackwood… just gotta remember to only use it for car stuff, so it stays nice (not really good at that - better at over using cars, as trucks!)
