New Mark LT owner!!

well i just bought a new mark LT. mine is ceramic white tri coat and has the 20 inch factory wheels. it has every option but the satilite radio and DVD because i opted for the one with the moon roof. i have already added magnaflow single exit exhaust and a 8 tube underbody L.E.D. kit. next is the sound system, wheels, then bed rug and a bed cover.

Might I ask what one of those rigs runs compared to the Lariat F-150? I have this thought that LT's run several thousand over a 150. Can I get one with a 6-1/2' box, too?

Yeah they are thousands over the lariat, IMO it is a rip off, it is exactly the same as a LARIAT...

Those tuners won't work because the companies enter Ford VIN option codes into them, not Lincoln.

But I have spoken to JET performance and they have a plug-in module that will work with the LT. Retail cost is $299. Stylin concepts has it. You can look it up for the F-150 but it will work on the LT

I ordered mine today.

Just spoke with Mike at TP, ordered his setup with the 3.25 AF1 and the tuner, was told that it will work on the Mark LT. only time will tell there

The Chip is in

Installed the Jetchip over the weekend. Seems to run better and smoother with the intake and exhaust. Went for a Highway ride and seems that the mpg improved a little too.

They are not exactly the same as a Lariat. They have a nicer interior, longer warranty, not to mention the other service perks that Lincoln offers that Ford does not.

I'm not just talking out of my *** about the interior either. My close friend, who owns a new Lariat, took me to pick up my new Mark LT and he noticed a lot of things right away that he thought were nicer. (real wood instead of fake, nicer leather seats, dash and shifter *** were covered with nicer material)

The ride is a little bit more plush and soft on the Mark LT, which may not be a good thing for everyone, but I sure like it.

Plus if you are good with negotiations, you can get an LT for the same price as a Lariat. Right now the cash back and rate insentives are a lot better on the LT's than the F-150s. When I bought my LT, I was originally going to buy a new Lariat, but I changed my mind once I found out that my payment would be higher on the Lariat by $100 a month.

Now I got a deal on mine that I know most people couldn't get ($30,000) only because of an insane hookup that I took advantage of. But even without that connection, the Mark LT was less than the Lariats once you calculated the cash back and financing incentives.

Jared, did you get the 4x2 or the 4x4 for that 30k price? Im in the market for an 4x4 LT but the best deal I see is an 18k mile one used for 31k.

I have not visted the dealership but I have used my xplan price online to see the costs and the 4x4 is right around 37k with the xplan. From what I understand they are not gonna budge much from the xplan price.

Any thoughts? They would surely be appreciated.

thx
