I drive my mustang with drag radials, so I don't see why the L should be a problem

We took my old 00 lightning out last winter in like 6 inches of snow. Doing dounuts and spinouts in the parking lot. It was quite fun. Untill we got stuck and had to tow it back to my house with the four wheelers. Getting it back up my driveway was and event

I do, but we rarely get huge amounts of snow.

Three winters now... no weight in the back, and haven't swapped tires and wheels. Not bad in the snow - really. Just watch out for slush in the road - the F1's have a tendency to get sucked in by it. I figured it would be much worse in the snow, but it's not.

I am unsure of how people get these things stuck in the snow. Just know where you can and can't go, take your time, and STAY OUT OF THE BOOST!

I put winter tires on and rims and it does the trick, in Canada we get lots of snow but last year we didn't get all that much. so it was perfect for driving in the winter as long as your driving crazy and what ever you do don't floor it when driving fast the boost will kick in and it will spin sideways with winter tires.

I drove it in March, we had an inch or 2. Not bad at all, really - just be smart about it. Heck, this winter, I'm carrying a 1/2" breaker bar with me, so that if it snows, I'll just pull the supercharger belt - it'll help me not be stupid!

I'll drive my L anywhere through anything, but I'll disguise it as an 88 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais.

I just ran into a lake on the freeway ...... needless to say my butt is just now getting un-puckered. I have never seen it rain this hard in the SF bay area,
i was going sideways for a while . But the "L" got me to work, i gave it a pat on the hood and said good job.

2 Winters so far, but I am looking for a winter car now.

Drove with the F1's, and they are not very good in the snow. However with some regular wheels tires, or snow tires, these handle just fine. Just like any other 2WD truck.

I've made it through two winters (Feb. on in 01, all of last winter) on my Dunlops. I've been stuck once in my driveway, which was no big deal.
I'm from the olden days when 2WD was all anyone had and love my L so much I hate not to drive it every day. Laying off the throttle and watching for fools is very imortant behavior in bad weather.
There are occasional days when the ice is really bad that I do take my wife's X-5, but not for long.
