Am I getting screwed with A-plan?

I have been trying to find the right truck for a few weeks no, but have had a hard time finding a True Blue L. I found one in Northern VA, but it had 585 miles on it NEW!!! They said it was loaned to the dealers son for a few weeks. I thought they couldn't do that. Anyway, I went to a different local dealer who has a silver one left.
I have an A-plan pin number, so I can get the truck for a good deal. Last year, a dealer told me it would be $28,400 out the door with taxes and everything, and it was only about $27,700 for actual cost. The dealer I went to today, wants $28,200 for cost, and $29,150 out the door.
I didn't think these trucks went up that much in price in one year. That is a $500 difference. They also refused to show me the invoice for the truck, and claimed it took 45 minutes to figure out the price. I think that I am getting the run around cause they want some extra cash.
What did everyone else pay for their vehicle cost (before tax) on their 2002's?

BTW, they are SUPPOSE to show you the factory invoice if you request it as an A-Plan buyer.

They also had a Sonic Blue 03 Cobra out front that someone decided to backout on after ordering it. They told me I could get it for $32,000 out the door with tax and all.
I love the Lightning, but that Cobra sure was nice. I can't justify the $3000 difference plus higher insurance. Even though this may be the only year of that supercharged Cobra, and that would bump it's value way up.
Around here, I shouldn't have a problem with dicount pricing, and I sure as heck shouldn't have to on a truck that has been there half a year.

Just telling you what I know for a fact, not fiction or hearsay.
Dont just talk to your Ford dealer, talk to Ford themselves, then call Ford Credit and you will see that Employees with A plan pricing are supposed to get the lowest APR available at the time.
Oh yeah, I should know because I bought mine at a non Ford dealer for A plan and had it brought directly from the train to the dealer, plus my brother in law works at the dealership so I think he is telling me the truth, but hey, if you want to argue what you think is right, go right ahead. everyone's got one(opinion that is)

Your info, as is your Brother-in-law, are both seriously in error.
BTW, I've been buying via plans for 20 years, and my family another 15+ before that.

Unfortunately there this nothing on the website www.dplan.ford.com about special rates on loans/leases. I would hold that as the ultimate source, for that is the only place you can get a pin from. You can even call the 800 number, but they won't help much.
Again, I verified the true cost of the truck, and the dealer finally did give me the invoice. It all worked out to right at 29k by the time I was done, so I am happy with that.
So after a few miles and a great deal of throttle retraint, I am definetely hooked on this truck. I cannot wait until this thing is a little more broken in. Put another silver L on the list, cause now I can be a part of the gang.

Ah, NO. You call Ford. I did when I was considering a Cobra when I lived in FL. Getting plans on SVT vehicles, and newly released vehicles is 100% voluntary. That's why it's hard to find a TBird at plans. Also, a few years back when the "new" Explorere model came out FoMoCo themselves removed it from plan priceing for about three months.

When the T-bird came out, Ford removed it from A-plan all together...not sure if that has changed now that it has been out for a while.
