K&N Oil Filter...Anybody got one?

What do you think?

Is this better on than the Factory Filter?

I think I'll just stick with my MotorCraft 820S and Amsoil

I've used one since my change over to synthetic oil at 4,000 miles. I'm at 34,800 miles now with a'happy' eng. The 1" 'nut' on the bottom of the filter makes it easy to remove.

Used them on my 01 Sport Trac. No performance gains, but like LIGHTNINROD said, the 1" nut on them bottom is a help. Really it's a personal thing. Stick w/ a motorcraft and pay a few bucks, or go w/ the K&N and pay around $12-18. Just my $.02

Yea, I use the K&N oil filter, nice 1" nut for easy install and removal, $9.95 @ Advanced Auto Parts, Part # HP 2010.

Save your money and stick with the FL-820S Motorcraft. Anything small enough to pass through an oil filter will not hurt your engine. Only $3.27 @ Advance too. I can understand $5 for a K&N or Mobil 1 filter, but 10-12 bucks for a filter is robbery.
