Hey Rob, why don't you shoot me an e-mail and let me know when you're planning to do them, maybe you can swing by here and I'll give you a hand.

Just curious... why wouldn't you recommend the silver anti-galling compound (never-seize)? Aluminum is bad to gall at temperature with dissimilar metals.

Anit-sieze if fine if you're putting a steel plug in an iron head. The plug will rust itself in the head over time, and the anti-sieze will prevent that. Putting a steel plug in an aluminum head, the plug will never fuse itself to the head on a metal level. It may corrode or rust making it a bit tighter, but I've never seen this problem on any mod motor since 91 that I've worked on.

Also, keep in mind that there are only 4 threads holding the plug in the head. Using anti-sieze makes it easier for the plug to loosen and work it's way out. Ford strictly forbids using anti-sieze on mod motors plugs as well.

Mmm, I think I might have to call Sal up on that invitation for doing plugs. I'm still on my stock ones atm.

I put anti-seize on mine yestuday. Package say, "Use in spark plug installation on aluminum cylinder head-equipped engines."

I plan on keeping them in there for quite a while if possible.
