truckn -

It's not really your fault - nor anyone elses - that this thread turned like this. The problem is, any time someone mentions something new, you don't get a supportive reaction. Instead of "Wow, sounds good, can't wait to see the data", you get "Yeah, right. Show some data, and THEN I'll believe you."

THAT'S the problem.

The point you made about Jim Belle was completely valid, and I have no doubt could be true. It happens all the time. However, that doesn't mean that the new blower WON'T be good - although Belle's CS may still suck. But, that's why I wouldn't buy through KB, I'd buy through Johnny.

In the mean time, Johnny has one. He has the blower on his truck, and has real world results. 11.0's with no NOS is spectacular. Sal's 127MPH with the Works blower, while absolutely ASTOUNDING for a 5000lb truck, is still using good old Naws.

The ultimate comparison will be when the 2 largest blowers hit the track - I can't wait to see the Works 201 blower running..... At the same time, I can't wait to see the ace Johnny has up his sleeve, with the new-design Kenne Belle... I'll make my decision based on performance, as will most others. But, thank you for the excellent information about Jim Belle's practices.

off the subject a little but does anyone know about the magna super charger they use on the limpfiner corvette {sp} seen one today on a friends z06 just adds something like 80? hp. but the way its set up. mounted backwards front inlet with a shaft going on the right sidt to drive from the back and a huge air intake going down in front of the radiator. looks like a rear inlet just monted backwards. supposted to be a special build for them. sealed bearings and rotors or screws would have to be backwards to ours, right?

Hey Doug,
Too bad you're more into censoring and promoting your buddies than letting the info flow.
Hey Mole, The site isnt free. We have supportiing vendors who pay for the abilty to post marketing info. Paul knows what it takes to become a supporting vendor, he just chooses to post marketing info in direct violation of the vendor rules...

It is not censorship.. It is unfortunate that so many have so much difficulty with simple rules...

There are sites where you can say what you want and bash who you want... They especially like to bash me... Why dont you go over there...

Doug

Come on, now - would it be fair for someone to advertise, without paying to be a supporting vendor? I know that Paul usually keeps that stuff off of the board, because of that very reason.

However, think about it this way - If you owned a billboard, and Billy Bo-Bob PAID to advertise his restaurant on it - But then, I put up an ad for my restaurant, covering his paid advertisement, what would you do? I'll tell you - you'd take care of it, as to avoid conflict with the one who PAID to use the space.

The information got posted - people opposed the KB blower, and explained themselves. They have every right to do so, and you don't see Doug deleting THOSE posts, no do you??

These vendors pay good money, so that they can make posts saying "Check out my new product! It's great, and you should buy one!" In case you didn't notice - that's business. DEAL with it. It's not because Doug is a JDM/JLP/PSP ****, and doesn't want people to hear information that might make people think - it's because the vendors supply the money that KEEPS THIS BOARD UP!

Think of this board like a TV show (As the rotors turn ) - If people stop advertising - they can't run the show. If other people can advertise for FREE, why would you pay?

Will some people ever realize that nothing in the world is free?
VERY WELL SAID !!
Hopefully more people will understand this version...

Yep, you got that right. Like bluetooth said, I don't have to agree with anyone on here. I hate to say it but I post when I see a need to pipe up and speak my mind, I don't post the usual chatter almost everyone else does to prove I'm one of the guys, or just to run my mouth/fingers. this is not the corner bar for me.
>>>>
I don't have another screenname Doug and I'm not here to bash. I pipe up, good or bad, when I feel motivated to. Now I saw the "Naked Truth" threads and agree with you there, those are harmful atttacks meant to do nothing but smear. But you seem to want a one-sided view on the boards here. I haven't attacked JL once. I just ask him and his followers, over and over, to explain why the KB blower with its shortcomings, and Bell, can possible be better compared to the other products already on the market. So far no-one has a single answer.
You make some good points HOWEVER, your delivery comes across as if to simply inflame the members...
Try making the same points with the same conviction and leave the flamethrower in the back of he truck. With the way things have been going here I CANNOT allow people to intentionally inflame and I wont..
I have no interest in censoring just in moderating ... To moderate... to bring down from a rolling boil to a low simmer....
Hope you undertsand and hope everyone can help make this continue to be the great reosurce it has been for years...
Doug

Cool

BlkBanshee, you made some interesting points and that I appreciate. Everyone seems to have calmed down a bit.

The problem with that is, you get screwed (pardon the bad joke) by default. the only difference is, it will be JL saying "kb says its your fault the blower failed" or "I cant get a hold of him" or "we're still waiting for warranty determination after 3 weeks, sorry man"

I made some calls since all this talk is getting me excited. Sal is using the very first Works eaton blower ever put together. There have been improvements since then (6 months he's been running it!) and also Works has added a screw blower 140. The new KB is just a 130. Don't bother waiting for the 201 since the 140 will be enough for Sal to clean JL's clock.

By the way for all the JL trolls, I don't have a single Sal part on my truck, this is not a go-sal-go post.

I also want to make clear especially to Doug once again that I am not bashing KB and I don't have the flamethrower in the back of the truck, I am just pointing out the well-known lackluster CS and other issues (lies).

I also STILL don't have ANY answers from the loudmouths regarding what is so great about the KB blower. It still sounds like a compromise. And it isn't even available yet. AND it's behind schedule!
