Can't stand it any longer!
I must agree with truckn.

The fact of the matter is, and I feel I'm qualified as well, that the KB systems I have owed ($hevy and Ford) do not hold a candle to the Magnacharger kits. As bad as the M/C troubles have been, and they have been bad, my expiriences with KB are are worse.

The Works setup that I am currently operating is h.p. producing marvel that actually WORKS! And it's all thanks to the "main guy at Works". He is a stand up guy, he knows the product, he knows the engineering, and he returns phone calls! (Unlike Judd or, Jim Belle. And I know that some of you guys reading this know exactly what I'm talking about!) He not only helped me through the incredable amount of BS that was required to support three different junk blower systems, but three of those systems were not even his product. Yet he spent countless hours helping me troubleshoot over the cell phone (and not making a penny mind you) while I stood, with my wife, 800miles from home, on the side of the freeway picking up blower peices and waiting for tow-trucks. Boy the wife was pissed that day!

I will never own another truck that is not supercharged, as long as I can buy it from "the main guy at Works". I know it sounds like I'm plugging this guy big-time, and I am. But it's because he's raising the bar on the industry standards in an industry that deperately needs a kick in the tail pipe. And if I can help some of you guys avoid the pure garbage that I have been through, all the better.

I want the new KB supercharger, NOT because its a KB, but because Johnny Lightning has/is testing it and if he sells it, then I am sure that it will live up to my expectations. I feel VERY confident that if any one of our tuners sell it, they would have already tested it and know the consequenses to their own businesses if problems arise. I am a business owner and I certainly wouldnt sell something that hasn't performed the way I thought it would. I am just thankfull that the tuners have all been around for years, we all know them and we all have delt with them, thousands of times, combined. I would feel confident buying a blower from Sal or Jim or Johnny, no problem. I am just thankfull that I don't have to order a blower from someone who advertises in the back of MMFF and I don't have any idea of who they are, how long they have been in business, and certainly, I wouldnt know anyone that has delt with them in the past. We are LUCKY to have such dedicated tuners that are well-known and have the skills and hardware to help us all in our continued quest for more speed and power.

It amazes me how everything seems to go down hill on here anymore.... TZRider Just show me the time slip bud! Like i stated before it takes a lot more than putting a truck on the dyno and (Tuning) it. to make it lay down some serious times. When you hit 11.0's with your blower then maybe i'll take you seriously. until then as far as i'm concerned you have alot to learn! and believe me you won't believe how much you have to learn. I don't need anymore comparisons with the KB & the works. of course you had to go with a twin screw to even compare to the KB. But thats buisness and thats ok. lets just stop all of this mine is better than yours 5th grade crap! and just let the blowers speak for themselves along with the customers when they recieve them. seriously i could care less about all this *BABY* crap. Just bring it on when your ready and may the best Man win! If you can accomplish what i have in the past years with these lightnings then my hats off to you. seriously "Dyno's walk ET's Talk!" From what ive seen in the years of racing. I'm sure you will be ready for next year @ the WFC. As will I! But i'm sure their will be Alot of others that will be stepping up too. so you and I might not even be in the running next year! Thanx dave i'm glad you have some faith in what ive been doing these past years with these trucks. I'll always give the truth and if this KB wasn't worth the $ then i would say so Trust Me! but when my truck is the Worlds Fastest Lightning (without NO2) then maybe just maybe this blower might be all that! I know for sure that it is. and i can back it up with the time slips!.....JL

Sounds like "Uncle! Uncle! I give, I give!"

And by "when they receive them" you mean "when they receive them even later than I promised"...

Thumbs down

Check your facts before you write, JL. As I said, I'm qualified because I've dealt with both parties involved before. From the feedback out there, looks like I'm not the only one.

What's ironic is that instead of using facts to defend KB's top-inlet p.o.s. which you are pushing, you are attacking a potential customer. That's because you don't have a leg to stand on.

Are you going to say the KB blower is better despite Jim Bell saying to Muscle Mustangs that Autorotor says the top inlet hurts efficiency by a whopping 10%? Are you going to say it's the best blower because it's smaller than the alternatives? How on earth can you say a top-inlet 120 or 130 cid blower is better than a rear inlet 140 cid?

Since the facts prove the KB blower inferior, your only defense is to attack others (me, TZRIDER for not having his show truck running fast yet, etc) while you blow smoke and use hype and pumped up rhetoric about how bitchin things will be. You have no real argument.

The truth is, despite you popping on here going "Boy it'll be great to go 10's, whoops didn't make it." and "The blowers will be here in 4 weeks, whoops didn't make it.", you have no argument.

I say thumbs down to your response. You don't see other tuners doing this, even the love him or hate him Jim from JDM.

Truckn,

Not to point you out or anything, but you stick out like a sore thumb on this board! I've been reading these boards for a long time, since I bought my first Lightning in 99, and I've seen people like you come and go.

Dude, you have some issues you need to work out. If you are so knowledgable, you shouldn't have to point it out. Other people will start to listen to you if your words actually make sense.

I'm not trying to flame you and I would've sent this in a personal email, but you don't seem to have a problem giving your qualified .02.

Oh, about the blower you're speaking of....if it's going to be as good as you say, bring it on. Slap that baby on your Lightning and take a quick trip down the 1320 . Show me the light(ning).

See what I mean? No substance, just bravado.

ONE MORE TIME: If you've been on the boards so long and are so much smarter than me, Care to tell us all how a smaller top-inlet blower with admittedly less efficiency is somehow better than a larger rear inlet one??

Anyone? Anyone?
