Cliff,
You seem to have issues with words and what they mean.
I am neither a JDM vendor NOR an employee. (www.dictionary.com would be a good link for reference, while you are there look up employee, contractor and vendor)
And unlike the folks that started all this I have no secrets. Jim wanted me to go to Gainesville and it wasn't coming together for me, I wasn't going to have the time to drive and didn't want to spend the money to fly. To entice me to show up to take pictures he offered to pay $350 bucks of a $500 plane ticket. As it turns out I got a pulley rather than cash... The gainesville trip cost me about $1200 total. So since Jim helped me with my plane ticket that makes me an employee ?? Hmm... Should I expect a W2 or 1099 from him ? LOL
Jim also buys folks at the events wings at Hooters occasionally.. Is anyone who eats the wings he bought an employee too ??
I am VERY active in ALL parts of the Lightning community, I don't need to explain every interaction with every tuner. Those that know me know I would do JUST about anything I could to help MOST lightning owners. I take the time to explain myself so that those that can read with comprehension can make their own determination as to my integrity and bias.
Like I said in the previous thread - Some folks on the Internet read the words that they like and then they make assumptions and conclusions to fit what they like and don't let the facts get in the way...
Finally if my actions or perceived bias offends you so much there are other things to do and other forums that have different moderators.

Doug,
I believe you mentioned that you were activly trying to resolve some issues withing JDM. and how you had been talkin with jim on how to do blah blah... If you like i can search for teh post.
You yourself posted such.
You have a select memory...aparently...for you to let jim badmouth other board members for 'fact' makes you that much less of a respected moderator.

I've got to go to bed, but I will return in the morning for a few minutes. Some have coffee, pop, donuts, well, I have my morning wake me up right here on F150online. I will then attend class.

Ok so he buys his parts(4000$ worth) should he not expect the decency of a response to a question in 15+ days??? Its about 'support for previously purchased parts' It seems like hsi point is that his parts were 'clerked' out with possible incorrect statements, and he is looking for simple answers to explain them. Jim obviously doens't mind making an *** of himself in public, but no way no how would I EVER resort to calling my customers names, even if i hated them. So anyways is it too much to expect an answer to a pretty simple question after you have someones 4k$?? Just my 2 cents..

As far as the stuff with meeting Jim at te track and expecting him to go the extra mile...seems to me if I wanted someone to go that extra mile for me I'd make an appointment and go to their place of business. Once again maybe its just me but it makes absolutely no sense to me to go to a track for a FFW or whatever where Jim might be trying to have some fun, probably racing his own truck as well as being pestered to help multitudes of customers, when I am looking for someone to go that extra mile.
IMO looking at your truck and fixing your TB while he is away from work is going that extra mile...and bashing the guy for not doing more for you during his time off is just petty and childish.
It seems to me SVT KY was trying to save a dime on the phone call and getting some work done for free by showing up at the races and asking Jim to work on his truck.
Sorry if im mistaken and please correct me if I am but this is what i've gathered.
