Quit your bitch'n and find another tuner. Whether you are right or not, you my friend have cut your own head off. Call it even and go somewhere else.

Cliff,

You seem to have issues with words and what they mean.

I am neither a JDM vendor NOR an employee. (www.dictionary.com would be a good link for reference, while you are there look up employee, contractor and vendor)

And unlike the folks that started all this I have no secrets. Jim wanted me to go to Gainesville and it wasn't coming together for me, I wasn't going to have the time to drive and didn't want to spend the money to fly. To entice me to show up to take pictures he offered to pay $350 bucks of a $500 plane ticket. As it turns out I got a pulley rather than cash... The gainesville trip cost me about $1200 total. So since Jim helped me with my plane ticket that makes me an employee ?? Hmm... Should I expect a W2 or 1099 from him ? LOL
Jim also buys folks at the events wings at Hooters occasionally.. Is anyone who eats the wings he bought an employee too ??

I am VERY active in ALL parts of the Lightning community, I don't need to explain every interaction with every tuner. Those that know me know I would do JUST about anything I could to help MOST lightning owners. I take the time to explain myself so that those that can read with comprehension can make their own determination as to my integrity and bias.

Like I said in the previous thread - Some folks on the Internet read the words that they like and then they make assumptions and conclusions to fit what they like and don't let the facts get in the way...

Finally if my actions or perceived bias offends you so much there are other things to do and other forums that have different moderators.

else he had to do? I'm sure that he wasn't just sitting on his A$$,
and told you that he wouldn't help you.

Exactly.
I musta missed something there ...Ungrateful? About? No,
I think I used the word disappointed, that's all ... And I wasn't
begging for help, my friend, I was paying ... You know? Like
a real customer? Everyone has customers that they don't
necessarily LIKE ... But they are still customers and should be
treated as such in a professional business manner ... Surely
even a cretin can see the truth in this....

me, but we know that didn't happen, don't we?
That sounds like you're being ungrateful. Saying "What EXTRA did you do for ME???" is ungrateful, in most people's perspective. Hell, once again, I don't know all of the details - only what you posted - which sounded downright ungrateful. You act as though you're pissed off, because Jim didn't GO above and beyond for you. Well, I'm sure he didn't have time, or he would have. I mean, hell - didn't he give Don a place to STAY? Don's no more to him than any other paying customer, and I'm sure, if conditions permitted, he'd do the same for ANY of us.

So - stop wining about what Jim DIDN'T do for you, and concentrate on what he DID do for you!

Soap,,, I'd hire you to drive around town looking for L's and putting flyers on other L owners trucks :P lol,, just kidding there,, couldn't start a detailing business without the soap on hand

which makes me think,, since so many people are reading this post,,, anyone is welcome to attend the MILOC shootout,, go to the NLOC MIlOC section to check it out if you are interested,, the date is October 19th at STanton Raceway.

I truly give up ... You ARE from the Enron state right? You
post all of this about taking money from Jim and you still
profess that it's all Jest Fine in Dixie ... OK I believe ya ...
Prejudical treatment and bias have NOTHING to do with
monetary payments.

Doug, all this is about facts ... Fact is that Jim can control
ALL of this stuff, but refuses to do so. That's what gets my
dander up ... But maybe TIA-JDM is right about finding another
vendor. My whole goal was to reach 12's ... a good friend
recommended JDM, and I felt that was the right path. Maybe
it is just time to change paths since all of us cannot agree on
simple basic facts ...

Maybe Jim could just send me back the price of the chip... And
save the hassle of dealing with a "punk" customer ... I'll return
the chip the next day ...

PS.....

in regards to: "And unlike the folks that started all this I have no
secrets."
... please verify for everyone that "I" did not start it
either ... since you can see my IP mask ... I just found it
interesting that all the SHEAT that had been slung about as
long as I have been lurking here was being proved false.

Doug,

How about tracing back the IP address and find out the owner. Then make it public so everyone knows who it was and promptly ban them. Seriously, the content here is supposed to be about L's -- that is tuning, mods, etc. It is a freaking soap opera.

It's time to grow up brother...grab ahold of yourself and call another tuner next time rather than coming here and letting the whole world know what a crybaby you really are.

I've been lurking for the last couple weeks, (just bought a silver L 01 2 days ago) and I already know that if I have to order something from pretty much any of these tuners its going to take a good while to get here and I understand that. Neither mine nor your 500 dollar sale is going to make or break any of these companies thats something you need to understand this is the equivalent of an old woman walking into a grocery store and bitching the produce manager out over the intercom because their shipment of guatamalan grapefruits hasn't arrived yet.

Grow up man...

Out-freaking-standing first effort!!!
Nothing PERSONALLY ATTACKING ABOUT this one ...
Move along, and read BEFORE you post ...

You did start this. Meant to or not that's the truth. How about calling it a night and sleep on it.

I dont know the story because I havn't been told. But if you used the chip for any amount of time, he would probley pro rate the chip. Meaning that you got some good out of the chip, but should have got it back imidialtly for a new burn or something else. Not meaning to pick sides, but being in retail, I can understand what some cusomers ask and it puts the dealer in a situation that goes beyond the call of duty.
