I'm not being a smart *** here but if other distributers ( tuners in training if you will ) were disgruntled with Jim for one reason or another why did you choose to sell his headers ?? After all, it's a JDM design that's manufactured by Kook's.
I know that the quality factor is reason enough but why not design your own and sell them ??
All I want is for people to acknowledge the fact that JDM has had a tremendous influance on our little hobby. That's all.

I did NOT exagerate. In response to truckn's question about the history, I stated that many Lightning parts resellers buy parts from JDM and resell them, [in some cases they resell them as thier own.] You have proven that point twice. The fact that you dont want to buy parts from your competitor doesnt change the facts.
I hear stories from various sources. As I mentioned earlier I have spent a great deal of time recently with Jim. So as I mentioned I know more about his business and recent issues than yours or anyone elses...
I also hear from many other sources. Including Don C who just requested that I close this thread.
Can you do me a favor and close this thread. I think my point has been made

One more note: 18-20 or so months ago Sal had the same kinds of problems with customer service that JDM is now expereincing.. Since I had ordered and was waiting for a filter and chip from Sal at the time, I knew some of the details of his issues. When as moderator I tried defending him ( to attempt to even the field ) I was accused of being in Sals pocket. Ironic that now the players have changed and I am again accused of the same thing...Except it is Sal accusing me of being in someone elses pocket....
Good to know that times goes by but taking shots at the moderator is always in season... LOL

I live and work in Maryland, I started LOOM (Lighting owners of Maryland) over on NLOC, that is why you have pissed off people posting from Maryland, because I have taken great care of them and they want to post their opinions.(not lies that I have told them to post)
