Very cool setup

I take it you're not using California's finest 91 octane with that setup? LOL I had a hard time getting a 2# pulley tuned properly for that stuff...

The truck is run on 100 UNOCAL unleaded with cats. The fuel is available at the normal Unocal station just 4.25 per gallon! The extra plumbing is the intercooler setup by superchiller from the boating world. We are using the freon from the A/C to super cool the water. Thank SAL for this idea. The inlet temps at 18psig are running around 110 degrees which is really nice. Just turn on the normal A/C and freeze in the cabin for big power runs. The lower inlet temps allow us to get away with alot of timing and boost etc. This stuff will all be available if there is a demand. I am not in the business so I will just post where to get and go direct if your interested, Chet

hmm.. doesn't the AC clutch shut off at full throttle?
did you rewire it to keep it on?

i'm guessing the drag from the AC clutch is outweighed by the gains from the colder inlet temp.

Chet,
I hope you will keep us up to speed on your progress. Also would like to know the particulars to your motor if you don't mind sharing. Crank, rods, pistons, heads, valves, etc. Understand if you wish to keep it private. How about the tranny and rear diff? If I remember correctly you smoked the stock tranny? Thanks for sharing your work.

Since you're making the statement, could you provide the specific facts? We'd all benefit.
