I dont think your talking about me, but I own an 01 Silver Lightning and I live in Columbia as well. I am always glad to receive and give compliments no matter who makes em (ford, chevy, dodge, etc). I would love to shoot the sh*t about my truck with anyone that would listen (girlfriend just doesnt care as much). As far as mods...I have nothing to hide. I have been cool to everyone. If it was me...I just didnt see you. First truck of the line-up.

Peace,
Ivan

If someone is self-centered enough to let any comments in this thread **** them off, wear it well, you probably deserve it!

So far everyone I've met from this or any other board, including other rides (Supras, Mustangs, TA's, Camaros, etc.) have all been cool guys. But I think every town has its share of guys who have purchased L's, simply because it was more expensive than a regular F150, and they figured it was better. But they really have no clue what it is they really own. They treat it like a regular truck, and really don't think other people are THAT interested in their ride. I guess they just don't care for the attention, and therefore act like A-holes. But so far, the few I have met from here have been real nice guys, in all age ranges.

I myself love the attention.........I'll shoot the breeze with anyone who wants to ask about mods, this, that and the other. I don't care if it's another L owner, another sports car owner, random person, even if it's a ricer, and he seems legitimately impressed and curious, I'll shoot the ***** with them. I love the attention. If I didn't, I'd of bought something everyone else has instead of hopefully standing out in a crowd, which I think we all do for the most part.

IT WAS ME!

kidding,

I did however get shi&&y with a guy the other day. He was like 'nice truck dude' we start chit chatting, and before yo uknow it he was comfortable leaning on my truck. I said, mind not leaning on my truck? "i wasn't leaning on it" (my truck was dirty and you could see his *** print on the side) soo i hopped in my truck and drove off.

I love the attention my L gets, but damn show a little respect of other peoples toys!!!

on another note, brand new stage 3 rousch parked next to me one day while i was shopping. I come out to see a dude eyeballing my truck, he says nice truck, 'thanks' well we precede to talk for 10 mins, all the while he is leaning on what i THOUGHT was his car. I make the comment, 'wish i could afford both, a rousch/saleen and my 'L' he says 'i wish i could afford just one' "thats not your car?" 'no' "then why the ******* you leaning on it, with your metal buttoned pants!"

oh welz things that **** me off i guess...

Brandon

PS that svt_ky guy is a jerk to, don't help him with anything! all he does is try to buy you beer and race you on new circle =)

Don't get me wrong. Ill shoot the sh** with anyone usually. It just bothers me when some start to get to confortable. I mean, I can be an as***** like anyone else can be. I've waved at other guys with L's and they didn't wave back. Big woop. Maybe they were not paying attention, talking on the phone, or just didn't feel like it. Besides , whats wrong with being an a******? LOL
You'all know what my favorite/theme song is?
