Hmmm

Were there any 'fitment' problems with the rear Bogarts, .ie. calipers? See Sal's earlier post.............

They will get their first run at FFW in Atlanta on the 19th of April. Well OK maybe a few runs before then!

Flats Man:

Why not run them at the NMRA event next weekend? Reynolds, GA is a lot closer to your home than Atl. is.

Gonna be a lotta Lightnings here then .

Travis, the 28s are what I have. But I really don't suggest using them on a 7" wide rim, because they are really thin, the tread is only about 3.5-4" wide.

What size wheels do you have up front?? The tires show to be 4.5in wide. What is widest I can go with these?? I was planning on getting the Am. Racing Bajas and I think thats as thin as they get. The matching set of Hoosiers look great by the way.

Well, I think you have a few problems. First off, you are looking at 15" tires. There's nothing wrong with that, but you are looking at 16" rims. The Baja's are 16x8s. They don't make a smaller or thinner size with our bolt pattern. I am using a 15 x 5 on the front. The tires are rated at 4.5 wide, but if you were to look at them, they are wide at the sidewall, but they taper to a very small footprint. Keep in mind that these are front drag slicks, not street tires. So you will either have to get a 15" custom front rim, or use a 16" tire on the Bajas. Hope this helps.

The only 15in wheels in our bolt patterns come from custom makers. People dont want to sell a wheel that requires brake caliper modifications. The Tuners have requested these to be made by custom wheel makers....
