cops who have nothing better to do

so last nite as im walkin home from a bar with friends, we stumble upon a cop walking around and giving cars tickets that are parked on the street.

one of the girls who was with us was drunk and panicked since she had parked in that area and asked why he was ticking all these cars since the no parking sign displayed was for thursday between 10-2pm.

the cop says he's ticketing cars for no front plate!

how lame is that? apparently all the drunks walking around and driving isnt as important as ensuring that PARKED cars on the street have a front plate.

i can see getting cited for such a thing if you get pulled over for something else, but this? ridiculous!

Wecome to the US, one of the most ****ed-up places I've ever seen.

While I was born here, I was lucky enought to live all over the world and still do. All I can say is this stuff about the best country in the world is BS. While, yes we have the best military in the world the rest is dog eat dog.

I'm ready to move to Korea or New Zealand. I'm so tired or the killings, lying from creditcard companies, goverment, ect......

Hell at this point Canada looks great after the taxes you pay. And at least some puke from IRAN can get a free education there.

In the US you get a little less taxation but you get nothing for it, think about it. The goverment spends it all like god gave it to them? Why pay tax at all? Heck if we're at war yes pay tax, but today's tax is just legalized robbery to support high paying positions from pretty people from pretty schools... see Monica Lowinski. Suck, suck, slurp, slurp.

BTW I lived in Japan for 2 years and made about ~ $170,000 a year and was paying the maxium amount of tax @ 15%.

So Vick,
are you proud that while in Japan you were raped for 15% of your $170,000 ($25,500). Maybe the goverment (I think you meant government) could use more people like you working for them, seeing how *******ed-up you are.
I believe in freedom of speech, but not when you are slamming MY nation and trying to compare it to some other because you lived there and think it is so much better (why did you leave if it was so good?).
Do us all a favor and move to Korea or New Zealand. I too have traveled to many countries, something I did while defending your rights for 15 years in the military, and have yet to find one that I would consider "better" than the US.
Although many of us on this site have defended your rights to free speech, do us all a favor and shut the ******* up.

p.s. Too bad I didn't pay 15% taxes, but I only had to pay 10.5% ($20,422 do the math bright boy) this government would have recieved an additional $8750 from me. Maybe I'll just donate it to the presidential re-election fund

Angry

djc cobra, they have priorities. It's the end of the month and they got quotas to meet. Besides, ever see a drunk license plate give the tax man any hassle? Like electricity they tend to take the path of the least resistance.

Believe what you want. That, too, is your right.

DJC Cobra,
I would have to agree with 4D THNDR, close to the end of the month.

And sorry to everyone, well almost, for getting on my soap box, I'm off for now.

Good bye Vick.
I see that your imense amount of education taught you how to call people names, and miss the entire point.
And if you are in fact leaving for good, you won't need to post here again.
You won't be missed.

Thumbs down True American

I see from your profile Vick, that are not into letting anyone know about youself. You know, like your hobbies, where you are from, or anything. I too have lived in Japan, but the Japan I remember from being there for 3 years, was a Japan that sorta looked down on us a little and who's prices were pretty much out of this world. I was stationed in Korea for a year. I remember how hard it was to live on the economy. Also I found they didn't follow human rights at times. I'm not saying that these places are not good, but here in the U.S., you are free to do just about anything you want. It's hard to find a place like the U.S. where you are free to go as far as you want IF YOU TRY. In my 53 years of life, I have lived and worked in as many as 12 countries and this is still my first choise, even though it's not perfect. Just listening to you spout off makes me think of the kind of people we are trying to keep out. If you do leave for parts unknown and better, please let us know how you are doing and leave your passport at the airport, I don't think you'll need it any more.. One more thing, please don't tell me that you were ever in the military...at least not my military..Semper Fi.
