Rollpan

RTKILLA,00BLACKLIGHTNING. It's attached with stainless screws under tailgate, and bottem of 1/4 panels. The rollpan is a $99 AIP from Jeggs, the end caps are factory, smoothed over and primed to cover texture same for lower tail gate molding. Painted w/ basecoat clearcoat. Before paint mount and make sure you have nice gaps between rollpan and endcaps. It's not hard just take your time, paint over sh_t looks like painted sh_t, paint over glass,SHOWTIME. Ed

ok so which roll pan do we use? the flareside F150 pan?

And with the end caps, how did you smooth them over, just sand the bumps down and paint them?

Use F150 flareside, sand off nubs use good bodyfiller(Dur-a-mix) sand smooth, wipe down with a paint pre-clean,spray on Dur-a-mix thermo plastic adhesion prermoter, prime the sh_t out of it .(cover all texture). water sand with 400grit, smooth and flat. then base color, then clearcoat. any dust sand w/ 1500grit and buff or hand rub, compound, then polish. Thumbs up

ED,
Sounds like a great option for a lot of us, your truck looks great and I might do this mod if my truck doesn't come back with a roll pan on it already.Bill
