Help W/Plastic Removal on bed

Can anyone give me some tips for removing the plastic parts that are on the bed? I got the top rail plastic off but I can't budge the step side plastic. Also need tips for removing the rear bumper plastic.
Thanks
John

The side steps are held in place with some hollow prongs that expand after they are fitted into the slots on the bed. Try using some pliers to squeeze the ends and pull out, being careful not to rip out the prong.

Thanks for the reply. I crawled under the truck and looked at that, gave the plastic tabs a squeeze and they loosened up but only two are like that. The one that seems to be a problem is shaped like an arrow and I can't squeeze it.
Anyway, I refuse to take any tools to my five day old truck and I wanted to remove them for ease of waxing. I guess I will just mask them off as I have made my fingers bleed tryin to get them off.

Wink

No need to pop the plaastic off for waxing. Any dried wax i easly get off the plastic with some WD-40 and a tooth brush.
