Air box mod equals HOLY CRAP!!
Hi dt
I meant to post an update on this post but I just never got around to it, so here it is.
The day I did my air box mod it was about 25 degrees outside and yes I did freeze my butt off.
As you may know, air temp has a big effect on boost. Simply put, cold air causes more boost because it denser than warm air.
I think the cold air was the biggest reason I felt such a gain the day I did my box. Now that its warmed it doesnt spin into second anymore. However i do feel like I did gain some power from the mod and I still highly recommend it.

Hey guys, what's this boost dump that you guys keep talking about, and why does it occur? I can't wait to get my Lightning and i'm currently thinking about what mods I want to do. Does an intake mod really make that big of a difference on the Lightning? It has never made much of a difference on any of my other cars.
