Wow, an old juicy thread.

Before I bought my L, I visited this forum and NLOC often to read what Lightning owners thought of their cars. I learned a lot in the month or so I trolled on here. I think I had a few lingering questions that I couldn't find answered in the archives, and nobody was discussing those subjects in the forum at the time, so I decided I needed to post as a n00b and ask the questions myself. Of course, this forum doesn't let you post unless you register and create an account. Unfortunately, I either didn't think I would stick around long, or figured I would change my username down the road - so I used the username I use for all my other online accounts: "BMWBig6." After I bought my L, I wanted to change my username to something else, but I had already posted so much that people already knew me as BMWBig6. I would ask Doug to change my username manually, but it seems I'm already knee deep and I'll just have to deal with the consequences of my actions. Besides, a change in identity would just get too confusing (mostly for me).

What does "BMWBig6" mean? I've owned several BMW's but my favorite one was my E34 535iM. BMW offered a straight 6-cylinder engine in 2 sizes, a 2.5-liter and a 3.5-liter. The smaller engine was often called the "Baby Six" and the larger engine was obviously the "Big Six." And "BMW-Big-6" was born.

Not worth the read, I know. A shorter explanation like "I had no foresight when registering and I can't stand Lexus" probably would have sufficed.

When I was 13 I always wanted to go hunting. Well I found a bunch of friends to go with and they always called me CROCKETT.
As in Davey Crockett.(first name is Dave)(thank god they didn't call me Davey)Well at first I hated when they did that. After a while they started introducing me as Crockett. So alot of people know me as Crockett.

59 was my High school football #, I started and played every game. (lucky #) My Junior year in high school I got moved up to varsity 3 games into the season, I took a friend of mines place that quit the team. His # was 63. My junior year playing football I got injured. Got hit in my right knee and couldn't play the rest of the season. (63 no so lucky)

Boring I know....................

Had this name back when I had my 98 F150 XLT. I am too lazy to ask a moderator to change it for me.

Of course the 'Toronto' part is there because we all know Toronto is a great place to live!

As for my sig showing "moerom" well that's my nickname and half of my last name put together. I used 'moerom' on every other msg board, just not this one (dunno why).

HappY nEW yEAR!
