Names pretty simple..

Back in 00 when I was ready to get rid of my 99 Camaro... I fell for this used 99 Black L, I had my buddy(who was a dealer at Galpin Ford at the time, take me out in it..love at first mash of that pedal!)(That's when I came onboard here), I begged my mom, and dad, and when the answer was no, i decided to work for it (I was 18 then), well...I got a damn good job working for a bank, but got fired...said, "screw this, I'm getting the L!", went back to see the L, crap, SOLD!!??!!

So, then I found this 00' L (by then, i was already sold on the color, BLACK) found another job with the previous banks main competitor, and I was getting paid almost twice as much there.....crap, got fired because I wanted to continue with College... So, there went that L...

End of Dec. 00 I started back up at my old job working for the L.A. school district, moved up in the ranks..ordered a Black 01' L online..got ripped off almost (lucky I put the down payment on the CC), said screw that guy! Then a guy on this board mentioned seeing a Black 01' not too far from me....sure enough, went up there the next day, BS'd with the guy, came back a few days later (Feb. 10th 2001), and got my baby! Best part of all....I'm damn glad my parents said no to the 99, b/c I worked hard, and got not only a good moral lesson, but a Brand new, 01 Lightning that I pay for... sorry my story's so long... So there..BLack(color of my favorite Lightning)BoLT(duh! Lightning BOLT)99(First L I ever drove/saw)--side not...I've always liked comic books..if anyone knows about the Fantastic 4, there was a character named Black Bolt...he was the leader of the "in-humans".... the mere sound of his voice would level the city, and his strength could take down any foe.... sooo there's 2 reasons for the name...that's how I feel the L is

 

Took a guy from work for a ride in my truck and he said "THIS THING IS BAD AS HELL"..... and well it sort of stuck,except for the HELL part. I thought "L" would sound a little better.

My screen name is old. I've had it since I first discovered the internet many many years ago, and I thought I was an 1337 |-|4x0r.

Its the name of a song and an album by a band I used to listen to in HighSchool, but not anymore ....

I'd be very surprised if anyone here knows who the band is ...

Mine was pretty easy, I live and work in Atlantic City repairing slot machines. JohnnyAC seemed OK, so that's what I use. Fred, SouthJerseyUSA says the AC stands for airconditioning 'cuz I'm cool and IMHO I agree with him, HEHEHE, John H.

 

When I bought my L, I found that my 9 year old nephew Cooper liked burnouts as much or more than I did. We did a lot of damage to the F1s when he came to visit. Now it's a tradition.
