Close race, it should come down to how well he can drive.

BTW a 96 LT1 F-Body is 285/325

If he can drive it's going to be real close! If you spin at all on the launch you will lose. However, if you add a chip and filter before then... It's all you buy 4-5 car lenghts!!

What the $uck kind of 69 Z-28 does this **** head have.
1) 302-290hp stock (hp is a little under rated for race reasons)
2) T-tops they didn't make t-tops in a 69 Z-28(sounds like Redneck Joe Owns this car. Does it have Cragers on it too???

Z-28's are the most under powered pile of **** known to man next to a ricer of course. I just brought one to my showroom tonight and it couldn't get out of its own way. Let me tell you because i have driven both Your lightning will destroy a 69 Z-28(stock) But remember old cars are real easy to make them run real hard. Beware look under his hood see if there is a bunch of aftermarket parts.

*Easy stuff to pick up on
Headers, Intake, carb(stock was a Quadrajet)

Anyway Stock 69 Z-28's are not fast. But the whole purpose of them was to can-am race so they handle decently
Hope i have helped
