Difference in the Lightning and Harley..

Maybe someone can explain this. It is my understanding that '99 & '00 have the 'EATON' labled S/C. Then supposedly some blank (who cares) then the '01 have 'SVT' labled S/C. My truck, from looking at the sticker, was originally delivered to IL then somehow ended up here in GA. Note the build date & # and the bought date (in sig). Nearly 7 months between, and I got it with 71 miles on it. What the hell happened to it during that time. AND IT has the 'EATON' marked S/C and that's # 2199.

From what my contact in SVT Engineering says, the bolt patern is different in the 01's. So, it's not an older blower, just may have ended up with cover that was slated for 99-00 Lightnings.
I've got two(2) complete superchargers with Eaton and one(1) with (SVT). Don't ask...

andrewjhaley, just because they are putting the s/c on one more limited production truck, doesn't meant they'll put it on everything now. you people need to chill a little.
clonetek, that pic of the 2000 harley truck wasn't even at a ford booth! the 2002 is how it will be. Ford is confirming this and selling it this way. in that pic of the 00, momo design pulled the rims off and put crappy lookin ones on and just pulled the stripe off. There aren't many changes between the 01 and 02 harley, and the things that they are changing are the pinstripe, adding another color, two toneing the interior, and putting a s/c on it.
Steven1642, what the hell does clonetek having a 1000 more posts even have anything to do with this. I mean he did register about a year and an half earlier than i did you jack a$$. what does it make him smarter than me or something just cuz he posted more than me? If thats the case than i must be smarter than you cuz you only have 50 posts and i have about 150. Don't bring stupid ***** like post numbers into discussions about the harleys and Lightnings. ALso, the key word is ALMOST all the vehicles there are prototypes. The 2002 is how it is gonna be. I know there are alot of concepts and modded vehciles there, but ford motor company is SELLING those harleys AS SHOWN in the picture to people already, they just ahve to wait til jan/feb to get it.
