The L helps us "young whippersnappers" snag hot lil pieces of a$$. And usually those ones like fast rides

well, my ride isnt too fast, but damned if it aint a big screw. size does matter.

Cool

Hard to believe that you guys are all 20-somethings! I got a graduation present as well. It was my mother's '76 Mercury Monarch!! What a piece of crap...but it got where I wanted to go.

Many years later I have a wife, house, and 4 kids. I'm 41 and just got my first F150 - 2001 Crewcab, 5.4L. I love it and the wife hates it...makes me love it even more.

She wanted a car! Been there, done that. I got the CrewCab to haul kids around, it comes in handy for fishing and camping trips. She drives an Expedition and loves it.

Enjoy the graduation presents. I hope the years to come are as easy as it seems now.

I got mine on my 19th Birthday, October 3rd. I have to pay for that, and my 96 firebird too! I really need to sell my car so i can afford some mods for the L. Swinging $1,000 a month for two cars, including insurance, is starting to get hard with school. Any one looking for an f-body. only $8.000

Most of them are taking there pills and shots.
the rest can't find there glasses.

No pills No glasses, have more hair on my head that a lot of 25 year old "babies" and it isn't grey yet. I leave the pastures to the farmers. My last shots were .357 from my Desert Eagle and 6"ss Taurus Heavy barrel, .223 from my AR-15 Delta and folding stock Mini-14, .762 from my SKS and AK-47, .45 from Sprinfield Armory 1911, occasionally I take a shot of Smirnoff-in a glass. I play a Fender Stratocaster thru a Carvin 100watt amp and 4-12 cabinet , I have a home network for gaming on my 2 900mHz machines and 2 1200mHz machines. I'm 48 and only count because other people always want to know-I don't care. If I'm an old fart then I can only hope you have the fun I do when you hit 30. And I sure don't need Viagra.

Talking Not too old..

I'm 52 and I'm on my second L. My first one, a 94, was sold a few months ago to get my 01L. Had to keep up with myself. I don't remember ever having anything but a good "FAST" car or truck. I got it from my uncle who had a Pontiac 2+2 back in 66 and ever since then, I had to be like him. He is still alive and is now 75. He has a Chevy Impala SS which he still drives. Maybe not so good, but he still has it. He says it's his speedo car. My aunt says he will never grow up.. Hope to live to his age and like him, never grow up. Anything is better than driving a Buick 4 door going 50 mph in the passing lane! Just remember that the day you give up what you love (as in fast cars & trucks) that's the day you stop living..

Past fast cars over the years:
1968 Ply. Roadrunner Hemi. Bought new in 1969 for about $5200?
1963 Ford Galx 406 w/2x4 Would you believe I traded it for a VW? Stupid 22 Yr Old!!!
1964 Ply. 426 wedge
1963 Merc. 429
1959 Ford w/427 (tight fit)
1969 Nova 396 (Home made)
1969 Ply. Roadrunner 383
1968 Buick Electra conv. 425? Tree ran in front of it!
1970 Boss 302..never really liked it. always in the shop.
1985 Dodge Shelby GLHS Turbo
Dodge Shelby Dakota, Found out it was a flood truck..and I bought it new. They bought it back.
1991 Mustang GT
1994 Lightning
2001 Lightning

I'm 51, and the only thing I got for graduation was a one year all expense paid tour to Vietnam. Then I got to come home for 30 days, and I got to go there for another all expense paid tour. Then when I came home, I bought a 1970 AAR Cuda. But I like my Lightning a whole lot better.
