AND that is the ONLY car Ford could compare to anything McLaren UK Ltd has ever built.
I'll bet it's I/C would LEAK too!

I may be wrong, but I think that was called the "Indigo" or something like that...

Unhappy

That butterfly might be free, but we pay for the cocoon for the rest of our lives, or something

Cool

Yeah, Ford called it the Indigo. Just a styling exercise, never seriously considered for production. I think they grafted two V-6 Cougar motors together to make a V-12 and then massaged them to put out about 450 bhp. Would be prohibitively expensive even if they ever did produce them, except for the Ellisons of the world. Still think it is the coolest looking car I have ever seen, though.

I saw one towing his fishing boat to the lake the other day...oh yeah they probally can't tow a boat. I'm happy with my slow old lightning. Besides it's hard enough to find a place to do 140mph around here yet alone 240mph. I'll admit I would be the coolest person in the Taco Bell drive thru

dude.. they would have to drop the tacos into the car, then you would have to call an tech to reset the car for the added weight imbalance.

MXracer, I heard the same story about Bill Gates, except that it was a Porsche 959 that they wouldn't allow him to drive because of the street legal/race only car thing. I know that there is one in Midland Texas, or at least there was, Carroll Shelby had one tested before he started working on the CSX/2000 or whatever it was called, which was awesome, btw, he tested specs against the McLaren the whole time he was developing the CSX/2000. That is what I have read, anyway. Actually, the Ford was called the Indigo, at least that's what it was called on my video game, Need for Speed II, but you could only use it if you had a special code or a PSX Gameshark. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to washing my McLaren, I hate when the water spots get on there, I have hard water and I have to start over if I let it air dry....
