from the dead, and people are still arguing about it

A long time ago I got pulled over on my bike, the cop walks up and says, how many people you think have a bike that looks like this
BTW
My bike had a custom multi color paint job, wheelie bars on it,
and slicks. I answer, oh Im sure there's a few around why ???
He says, because I saw some ******* yesterday go around
the train track gates cause he didn't want to wait for the train to pass, that wouldn't have happen to be you would it

I say of course not officer, well I would never...........bla bla bla
Point is, back then, they had to catch you red handed.

These days they can snap a pictures from a pole mounted camera, and mail you a frigging speeding ticket, but they still got to have a witness or picture of YOU doing it.
so i'm guessing you did it???

Will

First of all, a police officer can write you for any law that he interprets to fit the crime. He is giving you a summons to appear in court, in front of the judge. Nobody has to pay any ticket on the spot, and a ticket is not the same as being charged!
Inorder for this case to stand up in court there would have to be evidence that points to the defendant!

Did you ever drive around on a Proto Type Kawi 900 Z-1
(bored to 1015 CC, racing carbs, headers, cams, bla bla bla)
with no rear shocks, it's not a comfortable "or nice handling
thing to do", never mind your kidneys getting shaked, rattled,
and rolled.

So to answer your question Spanky
Schitt ya it was me, I had to go take a ****
OR SOMETHING ???

:santa:

Oh crap, can I wash this stuff off the pavement? The black marks on the pavement where I back my truck into my parking spot in front of my house look too obvious.

I had the same problem...

and no it doesn't wash off.

Just do what I did, lay a patch from your driveway all the way across the street into your neighbors driveway.

It works great.

They took hiom away in cuffs yesterday and towed away his Cavalier.

Here in Cali we have stop light cameras that will snap off a couple photos if you run or roll through a red light. You get a nice $327 moving violation (of which $150 goes to the private business that set up the camera) the first time and a ~$1200 violation the second time along with your license suspended. The ticket gets sent to the address on the registration and it is the owner's job to deal with it. While they do attempt to snap a picture of the driver; the vehicle owner still gets nailed with the burden to prove that he wasn't the driver and to get the 'perp' to fess up. If it was the owner that 'ran' the light, then he probably has no clue until the fine comes in the mail and his insurance jumps way up.

These photo lights cause people to slam on their brakes as soon as the yellow lights. They cause people to slow from the speed limit (55mph) to a crawl while the light is green in anticipation for the yellow. Lastly, they cause 1/4 mile traffic jams as everyone is afraid to make a right turn against the red.

I cannot believe that it is legal for a private business to profit from driving citations. I have long thought about carrying a video camera with me at all times and video taping people jaywalking, driving while playing loud music, or best yet litering ($1000 fine = $500 in my pocket!!).

You are free to live in a free contry; just don't do any of the 1.13 million things on this list and please do have it memorized (even though the police don't) and btw if you do happen to break one of these rules we will most likely just take your money in order to keep you from doing it again by not just pissing you off by taking away your money but by giving it to us so that we can protect people like yourself from people like yourself.

Sorry for my slightly off topic rant.

NOT TRUE!

I'm sure it varies from state to state, but around here, squeeling or spinning tires AT ALL. Is considered "breaking traction". and is a RECKLESS DRIVING violation.

if somebody saw you then there's a problem, but if there was no witness then I believe that they are S.O.L. they may try to scare you, but I don't think that they have a leg to stand on in court.

good luck. (edit: sorry, I didn't realize that this was an old post)

later,
chris

I say, just go to your nearest intersection, Stop in the middle of the road and bust out the line loc, brake holding, brake tapping, whatever you need to do to start a sick *** burnout. Leave it going for a good 15-30 seconds. Then just stroll out of the cloud slowly and look around. If once the cloud clears no one is chasing you down with bright red and blue lights then you are safe. Go home, drink(gator), do drugs(rob), buy more things with flames on them(vinnie) or whatever suits your fancy and have a nice day. This is not recommended for everyone though....

So nobody spins their tires on ice and snow in the winter there? Oh that must be a really fun state.

Smile your post brought a smile....

years and years ago, I did this huge smokey burnout at a gas station where I worked. Almost immediately this cop pulls up, lights flashing and is outta the car in 5 seconds reading the riot act to me....only to conclude with...."you're G*d D**n luckey you were on private property this time, but I'll be looking for you!"
As I was leaving the state in two days and I was in my soon to be former x-Boss's 1968 Roadrunner, I gave the warning from the officer it's due consideration. Never did hear how all that worked out though!
Ask me? Nothin to worry about unless they see you do it...other than that? Hearsay and conjecture. You ain't got nothin to worry about! But I *would* look over my shoulder a couple xtra times before doing it again, cuz these guys obviously have nothing better to do!
