Turbo Or Whipple

You obviously didn't get the point. If a small turbo can make a 3700LB GN go high 10's, than a properly sized/designed turbo on a v8 in a truck will go 9's easily.

It's funny how you seem to know so much on how a turbo Lightning will be not only "really fast" but also a great daily driver when:
-You don't own a Lightning.
-You speak from what your buddy has or what you saw at a track one time.
-You provide no factual evidence on how a Lightning would be a better turbo daily driver than a s/c one.
-You don't relate similar setups. i.e. A turbo GN to a s/c Lightning.
It's obvious you never took the time to state any logical facts. You just started going off on how you love turbo's because you have a buddy or saw someone go "really fast" one time. How can you say your argument has any sort of relevance to the discussion when your comparing apples to oranges? You can't compare a V-6 turbo GN to a s/c L when they are totally different vehicles. Just because your buddy has a fast car that he thinks (subjective) is a good daily driver, doesn't mean it is so with any vehicle.
Now lets get back on topic. The thread is about opinions/experiences with turbo vs. whipple setups on a LIGHTNING not someone's buddies Grand National.
Oh, and love the Canadian sarcasm. That really hurt.
