Tons of info. if you search the two. It depends on your goal and if you want the easy (blower swap) or more creative/custom fab route (turbo).

You're asking for it with that remark. Here comes the turbo police.

I've heard the smae thing over and over....

"I've owned a few supercharged cars in the past but THIS turbo car is here to stay. I'm never going back!"

You hear that at just about every Mustang event.

Yeah, and they come back to the next event and you ask: "What happened to the turbo stang?" reply: "Oh, I sold it."

Well,

IMHO I have been turbo, and I have been SC..

GO WHIPPLE.... it's what I got now...

Turbos are a pain in the ***...

Sorry but true... yes they produce a little more power on less parasitic loss... but... dude..

a whipple is practically plug and play...

I'd say Whipple. It's a proven kit.

If you don't want to go really extreme, the Whipple really makes more sense- like others said it is much easier to do. the turbo will ultimately offer more potential, but along with the potential for power are potential problems.

I am a Turbo fan myself (I will be putting a turbo on my Foci soon enough), but the Whipple is a great unit that will ultimately make more sense for most users.
