No intercooler leaks yet.... keeping my fingers crossed.

Hope this helps you out.

I first noticed my leak at about 14,000 miles, It was in mid may of 2000. I had mine replaced had now I haven't noticed any leak yet? At the time I only had the airraid intake system on the truck. My truck now has ab about 26000 miles on her.

22k miles on my 99L, build # 944. IC started leaking last month. Went to the dealer today and will get new IC installed and be back on the road by Friday the 16th.

what the f**k my intercooler was changed in 2001 with less than 20,000 miles and now my 99L has 47,000 miles and it needs to be changed one more time and the part is costing me $1,425.17 + labor anyone now if they make aftermarket or if i could get it at a low price

Had one, just sold it. Did you get the "fixed" intercooler in 2001? If so, I doubt it's leaking.

a) have the intercooler pressure tested

b) keep any parts that are taken off - if you have the "fix", you already have the upper manifold plate and don't need the whole fix kit, only the intercooler itself (if it's leaking). That $1400 part includes the plate and intercooler.

well i dont know cause my brother said he had it changed another ? will a 2001-2004 intercooler fit my 99 with the the manifold cause some guy is selling me one but he says its from a 2002 can you help me
