DMP trans, PI 3000 stall, Detroit Locker= WooHoo

picked it up on friday and man i absolutely love my new setup.. the DMP "Dantes Modular Performance" trans shifts like an animal, the PI 3000 stall is a noticeable difference from my PI 2700 stall.. i also had an SFI flexplate installed and an LFP "TA Performance" rear girdle.. on the street I really did not notice any bad wheel hop or vibration from the locker like I thought I would... i cant wait to get it to the track this season and turn some numbers out..

YA grab a camera and go out and do some smokeys and report back
I love those (I call them 0-80 burnouts). With these Whipples you simply roll out of a light and stab it @ 1/4 - 1/3 and the SOB does a sideways smokey from 0-80 at a nice low spinning RPM.
It's fun, safe, and gets lots of attention

Sounded like you were enjoying it Fri when we spoke Rich, glad it's all coming together my Brother BTW Your missing that awesome fair I told you about, Me and JR just went and had Gyro's, Steak Sandwiches, Funnel Cakes, Snow Cones, YOU NAME IT, WOO HOO.... Only two more weekends after this one keep it in mind

Jim (Top Gun) I know it's a touchy subject but any word on when your getting yours back ???

what more is there to say other then detroit lockers are practically indestructable.. i know guys out in Cali breaking the True Tracks left and right.. i wanted to do my rear once and thats it.. ya hit the gas both tires are spinning.. i was tryin to run a number last season and it didnt happen do to neglegance in my tune to compensate for my PI converter, which in hand made it seem like my trans was slipping.. once i switched tuners and he noticed that he told me without me asking.. i took it for a spin and it was night and day.. but anyway, this year Ryan at Ryhnotune Racing and I look to use the Sniper software and get this truck into the 10s on the stock block.. oh yea the Locker is the ****!!!

Have they been reported here?

I can't recall ever even hearing of a TT failure.

Same here, Tim. JLP has had the Tru-tracs at over 1000 rwhp and no failures that I have ever heard of.
