If you think your truck can beat anything in my stable except my wife's Expedition then you are blind. My LX will literally "half-track" your truck. If you don't think so, do the math. Figure out how many feet per second I can travel if I'm doing 135mph. Multiply that by 3.5 seconds (assuming you run low-14s, which I doubt) for the margin of victory.
I did the math for you... 198' per second x 3.5 seconds = ~693'. Since a 1/4 mile is 1320', I'd say that's a "half-track" job.
All in fun, man...chill.
And I already reported earlier that I have friends who race R/Ts with blowers. So my comments are NOT irrelevant. They run low-14s on ET Streets...not stock tires. And they are good installs, etc. I'm not bashing them. The trucks look good, I think. But to run low-13s at the SAME track my L runs low-13s at they will spend more than the difference in the cost of a NEW truck.
This was a debate. I'm sharing my experience (and I've been going to the track for many years now), and you're sharing yours. I strongly disagree that you can slap a $3000 blower on an otherwise BONE STOCK R/T and run high-13s...not down here in Texas where its 90-95^F.
Again, just b/c I share my thoughts doesn't mean you have to resort to poor English.

I've stayed out of this thread to this point, but enough is enough. The name-calling is offensive and goes against the good-natured debates that I have enjoyed on this board.

one bad dakota, tell me when your buddy is going to be there and i will try to make it out. i havent been to the track in a while but the last time i went it was on friday nights so no times where shown. so lets make it a wenesday night.
im curious. how come you will tell hot rod what you have done and the times you run but you wont tell us.
i have an 11 second car myself. 383 airflow research 190 heads, accell 219 @ .050 cam, accell superram, 150 compucar nitrous. 12.5 at 113 on motor.(everything emmision leagal) i shreaded the ring gear and i am in the process of trying to find a 3.70 gear (funky austrailian rear end).

Actually, the S351 was not blown until recently. Before that only the S351r and SR were. I have a naturally aspirated S351 and it goes like hell. I promise you. Oh and BTW, its not made by Ford anyway. Saleen is independent.

Ford does make a fast NA car it's called the SVT Cobra R. I seen 1 run a 12.85 with only 300 miles on it. I'm getting bored with this thread, there's not much truth to say that hasn't already been said several times. Later, Lloyd
