I think its funny reading how the "tuners" are striving to get into the 12's........

Man o man, we have come along way baby
btw...I had a swanson chip in my 99, when I traded the truck, I sold it to a guy in Calif along with a Pro-M 80. That was a long time ago

Hmmm,Dannys chip had my 00 running 12,s....12.79 @108 to be exact in september 2000,along with a pro-m and et streets.

Exactly how many L,s of any year, run that quick without a pulley and/or other mods?

13K later my truck runs high 11's on a good day and around 3-4 mph faster....progress comes at a premium and this is not taking into account all the pulleys and chips ect in between now and then.

I managed13.17@106.1 (and a few more 13.1-13.2@105 and several at 104) with JDM's June 2001 street tune and 90mm mass air. I've been tryin' hard as hell to get in the 12s with stock rubber. Keep in mind this is with a 2.21 60'!

Ohwell, sticky tires are goin' on this next year.

Gator

I bought your chip and and air meter. Decided to go with 90 mm ford unit because it looks stock. (Ca. smog checks). The chip is still in my truck and Danny has tweaked it a few times. It picked my 99 up 50 rwhp on yhe dyno. Danny is probably the sharpest guy that I have ever met on tuning and related issues, and I have been playing with this stuff for almost 40 years. Skip
