Wink Things I have noticed lately

1. Lightning drivers almost always race non truck vehicles. Rice Rockets, Bimmers and Jags, motorcycles but almost no trucks. In fact, not even very many Camaro/Firebird/Mustang vehicles. Interesting I think.
2. Almost never see whitewall tires anymore. Only on a few Caddies and Lincolns.
3. Ditto for vinyl tops. Used to be on everything down to econo-boxes. Again, almost always seen on Caddies/Lincolns.
4. Where do they find all the cows for all the leather upholstery found in current cars/trucks. Used to be only Caddies and Lincolns and some convertibles, now everybody can get leather.

Pretty dumb subject matter, but at least I am observant.

Bill

Or slotted mags (like the ones I need for my son's Mustang). I haven't seen a set of those in years. Come to think of it, I haven't seen a set of Cragar SS spokes in a long time either, with or without spinners.

Some of these youngsters probably have no clue what I'm talking about.

OMG! I'm getting OLD!

OMG! Is that ever true.
This was starting to sound like a post from the geriatric ward, well maybe not, just the over the hill gang. Hey guys I remember all of those things too. You left out the American Racing Torq-thrust D's. Not only do I remember these items I had them when they were new and were the hot item to have.

Hi Wyldman!
Yea I know but it was cool! About those Torq-thrust D's, the new ones are not as cool as the ones back in the sixties (light gray spokes). How about this for a flash back 1964 GTO, AM radio with a reverb. Now days people think AM is talk radio.
PS. I sold my Torq-thrust D's in 1982 but I still have the reverb.
