one problem after the next...

I'm like no it's NOT, we held the damn thing up to the front of the truck and it's clearly NOT. So he's like read me the part number on the box. I read it to him. Sure enough, it's for an expedition. So then he has the ***** to say to me, "Well I can assure you that IS the right grille for your truck, it must've just been mis-boxed." WTF!!! Mis-boxed my f'king azz!!! Mis-boxed or not, they f'ked up... and all he can say to me is, "well I really don't know what to tell you." He wouldn't even offer me an exhange either... he said I can ship that one back for something like a 'partial exchange.'.. meaning I can get something to replace that, but not for the full amount. I understand the return policy they have with the 14 days, but come on... 6 days or so past that and you can't help me out???
I ended up just having the body shop get me a new upper from the place they deal with.
So I got screwed out of my money for my grille, then on top of that my insurance company is screwing me... now I have to pay almost double my deductible out of my pocket. I can't win! Maybe one of these days something will go right for me for once.

Did you pay by Credit Card or current account charge card.
The CC card company may fight your corner for you.

LA, if in fact that dealer s'd you you should name the SOB and foward the post to them. Hopefully the individual you spoke to was having a worse day than you. Rest assured better days are in your future. Hopefully We'll meet on the 18th

Geez,

That sucks. I'm glad that you are ok though but I know that doesn't make you feel much better about the truck.
