That really sucks! Sorry about your truck.

PS... Driving while receiving a lapdance is very dangerous.

I hit the curb hard in one of my older fords and it ended up being just bent suspension pieces when the wheel was 3" off center, so your frame may still be ok. Maybe it was a rock or large branch on the initial hit....curbs can do some serious wheel damage when hit at speed.

So you're waiting for me to say I was drunk? If I was drunk, I would come out and admit it. I'm stupid, but I'm not that stupid.

That sure Sux BIG time, your safe and that's MOST important. With you driving on a Highway, and also assuming there are big rigs on that road. They lose stuff off there trucks all the time, i've also saw pieces of re-tread big enough to wreck a truck if you was to hit it. Plus it was dark and tires being black, it would be very easy not to see a chunk of tire in the road. And then when you went back there wasn't nothing there, but here they have State Road trucks that go aroung picking up debris off the roads all the time. I'm sure you have the same thing up there, so you may want to call the Dept' of Highways and ask them if there was any report of something being in the road and getting picked up where this happened. They may have been something in the road that you just didn't see, and by the time you went back someone may have already picked it up.

Looks like you need to just junk the truck... And then I'll go ahead and buy it..

J/k Glad you're ok and I'm sorry about your truck.. I would have shed a few tears myself.

damn Leann....

maybe insurance can cover most of the damage.
I would be pi$$ed if I found out that was a pothole that did that to my truck.

I don't think anyone meant to insinuate that you were drunk......but if they did, then tell them to pi$$-off.

Sorry about your truck. I know how much you love that truck.

I happened to ride by your Dads house yesterday and saw the truck leaning to one side, but I did'nt see the damage. Now I know why.

Hope all works out for you and if you need a local body shop referance that does excellant work, let me know.

Eric

$50 says it was a ladder. I ran over one when I was in high school, and Ill be damned if it didnt do EXACTLY the same thing to my rim. Ladders seem to like jumping off of work trucks onto highways. Good luck with the repair.
