Here is the photo's of the merchandise that I have for sale. Two rims are slightly damaged & the other 2 are in excellent condition. All 4 tires are in excellent shape with 6000 miles of easy driving. Never been to a dragstrip yet. I will sell only the tires & rims as a whole set for $1050.00.
I already have the rims sold & on hold if I cannot sell them as a set. I have a set of chrome puppies on the way via ROGER.

Geezzzz, $1050, you can buy them new for that much?

The rims, which I might add you only have two non-bent/side swiped ones cost $175 each (www.downsford.com) and 3 tires non-damaged $225 each(www.tirerack.com).

Lets see 175 X 2 = $350
225 X 3 = $675
----
$1025

You might have a good 4th tire hard to tell from the picture, also I have to wonder about the 2 of the tire side walls?

It funny how you guys get your prices, I just went to their web site & also called about their Lightning rims, It 225.00 a rim plus S&H. http://www.thefordsource.com/store/m.../lightning.htm

S&H is around 80.00 for 4 rims which I'm including. Now I got my 2 damaged rims quoted for repair price is $90.00 each.
So let do the math:
225 x 2=$450.00
225 x 2=$450.00 -180 for the repairs fee=$270.00
$450 + $270= $720.00 + 80.00 for S&H= $800.00

Now for the tires, all 4 tires are in excellent shape the sidewall problem is lots of crap, if your drive a nail or screw into any tire it going to go flat. I've been using
Eagle F1's for about 11 years with fabulous results. The tires are $229.00 plus S&H at Tirerack if you can find them in stock:
4 x 229.00= 916.00 plus S&H 40.00=$956.00

So now let add up the #'s:

Rims $800.00 + $956.00= $1756.00 so go figure
F1 is full of crap.

If anybody thinks they can get into the 4 Lightning tires & rims for $1600.00 have to be full of S@#$t!!!

I have a invoice for the chrome rims alone that I could scan & post, $1650 for 4 with S&H.

I posted the web site where F1 said you can buy these rims for $175.00 not, $225.00 plus S&H. Also called they said their markup is only 10% and if the would sell them for 175.00 they would be losing about $30.00a rim.
I said I had a reliable source that said he
could get these for 175.00 if he bought 4 rims the guy said quote "Your source is full of ****" that was a direct quote by the way>

So the total savings would be $706.00 difference from purchasing new rims & tires.
Wait a minute the price has just went up, hehe.

Downs sells 4 rims for $700.00 even.. or 225 each.. doesn't make much sense... but that is how it's advertised on their site.

I too think the price is a little steep.In reality,what good are wrecked wheels.Even if you fixed them they still might not balance right.So you are really selling 2 good wheels and 4 50% tires.We all know these tires are only real good for 12-15000 miles

4 tires at $120 = $480
2 wheels $150 = $300

If you search my post, you will find where I clipped a curb because the guys at the oil pit put 40 psi in my tires (without me knowing it).

YOU are just trying to rip off some REAL Lightning owners.

BTW I took my bent wheels to (which looked less bent than yours) a repair shop and they said that the rims looked real brittle and would try to fix them but, sorry no guarantees.

That’s why I paid $175 (free) for new ones!

Do I have to scan my receipt for ya?

I guess math classes in OK are pretty rare!

As for your statement about Real Lightning owners, I've met about 20 people on this board at various places in my Lightning so I would not even go there if I was you.

As for the fact about your sidewalls hitting the curb, If your dumb enough to run into curbs with a 30 K truck then what do you expect??

You guys need to "STOP" dissrespecting each other, and start communicating a bit more effectively.

If you have a problem, then e-mail each other, and take it off the board.

The F1 tires are not that bad. i rotated at 12k, they look brand new. i will easily get 30k out of them, having fun the whole time.
