Everytime i come to this forum, ther always have to be people talking on "ricers." Do we really need these kinds of posts? Every1 has their own taste in what they like. Do u care what they have? Im sure there r tons of ricers that talk trash on trucks calling u hicks, rednecks or wutever else. Do u really care what they think? I sure as hell dont.

Further, there r tons of imports that can easily whoop the crap out of lightnings. Im not syaying that i like or dislike "ricers." For sum people gas hogging v8's arent practicle, and they want to have their car stand out. Perosnally i don't like the big exhast tips, but if done tastefully many imports look awesome. But again, every1 has their own tastes... just leave it at that.

2. I do have an f150 and a pro-street 64' nova.

Im not talking on any of ur trucks. I do think the L is the best looking truck out there. I just think its lame to talk on other people cause they like what they do. Personally i would take a clean hot rod over most imports but that doesnt mean i talk on "ricers."

I think most of us on this board get a good chuckle out of vehicle's whos primary modification is cosmetic. Its even more funny when one of these individuals has the gall to think their sticker-adorned econobox can outrun one of our trucks. Yes, many of these views are stereotypical. I've seen some kick-a$$ supras and NSXs and there are LOTS of imports at the autocrosses that I frequent.

Sorry didnt mean to make it sound that bad after I sent it, I went back & read it again, (editted some of it out). But it just burns me when someone comes here (that doesnt even have a "L") & starts tryng to tell me what I should or shouldnt write about. I dont care if you have a Lightning or not, but its kinda of rude to just come on here & post that we shouldnt trash-talk imports!!! I can do what i want!!

 

Well, okay, I was going to stay out of this one, but........My gardener has several of those hopped up engines, which are quite similar to the ones I've seen running around town with those obnoxious 42" diameter mufflers. (well, maybe not quite that big around) One is on his weedeater, one is on his lawnmower and the other runs his edger....Now his truck, it's all american muscle...F-150 x-cab......Oh by the way, nope, he's an okie boy just like me...just has a weakness for those darn noisy little engines........
