This was from the news in 2000 - Not a rumor.. Even if it were a rumor it would be grandfathered in since it was originally posted in 2000 - ( Before many of you had seen a Lightning )

Lets let it die..

I was subscribed to this and started to get emails again...

$1.59 in Birmingham Alabama for 93 Octane.

I can assure you a huge portion of what you are paying for gasoline is State, County & City taxes.

I get about 12-14 mpg and drive my Lightning over 400 miles a week. $2 a gallon would wreck havoc on my beer budget.

I paid $1.37 for premium on monday. For those of you in the OKC area, NW 179th and May Ave. I would like to know why super is only 91 octane in OK and in TX you can get 93?
