So how do you go about putting that hose back on?
I have a strong feeling that's my issue right now as the leak down and compression test on my motor are all good. I've checked all the obvious vac lines and they are all good. Did you happen to notice low vac at idle when it blew off?

I lost a couple if inches of vacuum at idle. I already have low vacuum because of the crower cams... My L had a slight miss like you have with one bad plug.. The motor feel low on power to... I was able to get that hose plugged without having to remove the blower or IC..It is very difficult to reach. I had to remove all the egr stuff on the driverside of the blower to gain access.. It's really not that difficult to remove the blower but I good lucky and did not have to..

Sure sounds similar to your issues Phil. Other than the miss.

Yeah, there's hope for a cure after all!
I'm sure my blower will have to come off, I've spent a little time looking at it and with the JLP sheetmetal plenum and KB I don't see how my hand will fit behind there.

After seeing it yesterday at Sals, I would def think the Pass side is the move to get in there. My guess is if you can find a nice thin piece of wood, maybe a sheet of 1/4" or 3/8" and lay it across that part of the engine compartment,
and lie flat on your gut on up in there, you should be able to reach back there ???

OR SOMETHING
