Thanks alot guys, your the man Rob, I looked on line for like and hour and I couldn't find this info, but the problem continues, so I had my friend com over and we took one of he's coils out and replaced with the number #2 and well its still misfiring
, but not as bad as before but some thing that I forgot to say before its that the misfirng gets worst after it shifts gear, let me try to explain better, when you get on the gas it sounds great in the lower rpms but as soon as it goes past 4K you can hear the misfiring and the engine strugling to get to the shift point and the the shift comes and the truck just falls on is face and now you can totally hear the engine misfiring like if some one had just pulled a plug, but like I said the misfiring its a lot less than before with my friends coil but its still there
, now I should also mention that the other lightning that we took the coil from was a 2000 and the one with the misfiring its a 2001 so maybe they use diferent coils too? and thas wahy it runs better but still misfires? any ideas guys, and thanks alot for spending time reading this and trying to help me out.

Make sure there isnt a cut wire or something ?
Funny enough that same Cylinder just did it to me, and it was the Coil wire,
not the coil.
Weird that it runs fine on low RPM with the other coil in there ???
Do like I did and open the hood and start it up, see if you can bring the RPM's up to where it does it, and while it's running grab that coil wire near the connector, and wiggle it, squeeze it, bite it, beat it, whatever and see if it makes a difference. Plus I would REPLACE that plug, it could be bad and or defective
Good Luck Bro.....
