As far as I know Jim has 2 Lightnings. Bill's old white truck and his own black 01. He raced the white truck in Epping a couple weeks ago.

As far as Jim running my truck, It's a favor to me. It was going to cost me alot of cash to have it shipped back to MS. I asked Jim if he would bring it to Ennis (since I was going to be there anyway) so I could pick it up and save the shipping costs. He told me he was planning on racing his white truck at Topeka and Ennis so I told him he could use my truck if he'd just bring it down with him. It really benefits us both. He's getting some good track tuning done on my truck, saving me delivery costs and gets to tow an empty trailer home from Dallas thus saving him fuel. IMO Jim being so busy that he hasn't got time to work on his own stuff is a good thing. It shows he's doing a healthy business. I wish my business was so busy that I didn't have time to do anything else. It'd make retirement come alot sooner.

children, children, children...

or more appropriately, tooner, tooner, tooner....

The professionalism of one particular tooner is shining through. Another outrageous post.

JLP,
I wouldn't line up against this guy. He's already threatened to put JJ into the wall if he showed up at a prior race. I wouldn't trust this guy at all. However, that thread mysterious disappeared from a different forum.

Everyone has their favorite, everyone is bias.

Everyone should notice the one Tuner that isn't participating in this? The one tuner who made over 800hp, without nitrous. I believe that is the record on a dyno.

Pssssssssssssssst. ROB02.
My Finacee' is an attorney for the IRS. Gotta luv that.

I don't know. I didn't read it on a public forum. If it were true I'd say no. But you deserve it. J/K I can respect someone who is opinionated and voices those opinions and that can back it up.

I would Love to see Jim @ JDM square off against Johnny Lightning at the SSOTN Race @ Cecil County. That would be a Great Race. I also have Jerry Skinner & Justin Embrey coming out to the SSOTN Race with both of there 8 Second Gen 1 Lightnings. Mine has a 7 sec look with a handfull of 8.50 timeslip's. Let's Just Race.

yeah

I didn't read it on a public forum
Yeah, that was all aired out on here a while back

While we are on the subject of dependable, how about Vinnie being on his second or third JDM motor, or Don on his second, or Kevin on his third, or the numerous others like Dave London who were so displeased with his JDM motor, he went to JL for help??
I'm not sure about Vinnie, but yes, Don is on his second motor. He was one of the first to have a "built" motor. His motor never blew or broke. Jim had come out with a new set up using different pistons that were much quieter so Don elected for the newest and best. Mind you this was like 2 years ago and that truck is still running strong. I know cause i drove it a few weeks ago. I can also tell you it has a ****LOAD of miles on that motor too.

Let's not exagerate and dramatise things now.

I'll let Vinnie drive it first, and then I will hop in and knock a tenth off his time.
