I meant on the street, on a daily commute. I sure as hell use the 0-60 everyday, and I have never needed the top speed. Hmmmmm go figure.

Just wanted to share my experience at the Mopar Event as it relates to the start of this thread.
Just today I was heading to detroit and traffic was moving crazy fast. 90+ outside of construction. Was running with a few people 100+ trying to make up time. On the way back home I set the cruise at 80 and was passing everyone. lol
top speed, yeah, I have tested it twice. both times racing. btw, I still dont know how fast it can go. 145 so far.
Chris
ps. I always get treated nice over on the srt boards. but i cruz the neon side to see what I might expect on the road.

Its funny, i haven't been there in a while, and it now seems like they arecoming to grips with the fact that those trucks, while still cool, are not nearly as fast as they claimed. They have mellowed out alot, and you don't see as much supremist atitude. I'll never forget the guy that wanted to fight me, cause I wouldn't race him for 300 bucks, then he ended up running 14.2 at 98mph!
priceless, taken right from thier site!
He cut the factory exhaust right behind the cats and put a x-pipe and then run into a dual pipe in single 3" out Flowmaster SUV 50 series Muffler and a Ractive 8.5 inch tip
OMG, that must look da bomb wid that fit tip yo!

Thanks ED...At least it sparked conversation...
I would just like to see what some of the automatic quad cabs are running. If the standard manuals aren't putting up very good numbers, I'm suprised they are even selling those things.
no one buys them because they are way way over priced and get 8-10mpg. I would have never bought one, but couldn't turn down the deal they gave me. will probably ditch it when the next gen cobra comes out.
