Never list any numbers or times in their sigs. on the SRT forum??? They list every single mod they have, but no numbers... Makes you think they're hiding something. :o :o :o

AND THATS IF YOU CAN GET IT DOWN THE TRACK
0-60 in 5.2 seconds
13.8 second quarter mile
Love the Motor, Love the Viper, (plan on getting one, maybe next vehicle)
but HATE the front end look of a SRT 10.
Plus with a L, you can invest 2-3K (or less) and have a 11 sec truck,
takes A LOT more to get that Mac Truck rolling any faster...
I'll hazzard a guess as to why this may be. Most SRT 10 owners are older (55k pricetag) and from the old school of performance and the Mopar muscecar era. It was not at all common to share knowledge back then. I am 41 years old and a former speed shop employee back in highschool and college. It shocked me to see the info shared by the current group of hotrodders. It used to be closed lips, closed hood and open wallet to find out.

I'll tell you, I've been on their boards just for fun, and they hate Lightning owners more than we hate them. I don't know if it's a jealousy thing or what. They will generally say how immature Lightning owners are, then in the same breath put (us) down in a manner that is equal to what they complain about.

Tell me if this is true, dodge took one of the first production srt-10's and ran one against a stock Lightning, the Lightning ran 147.8mph, that is bone stock right off of the lot(with the exception of the speed limiter being disabled), dodge pulled a srt-10 with no mirrors, no antenna, a tonneau cover, no door panels, one driver seat and a 6spd manuel and pulled a 149.4mph. Is this true? I've heard this from many different people and it's all the same story.
