The process of elimination has begun

I dont need no stinking EGR anyway

The last sensor on the right is ALL you need to put back

As seen here, it's now gone off the bracket, the bracket and all you see
STAYS OFF, WOO HOO...........

Looks like schitt I know, but I needed to make something so I could try it

Sal just gave me a couple of new bolts to use on the plate I made,
and I still have a lot of cleaning up to do (tieing up all the wires and lines
no longer being used

UNFORTUNATELY PROBLEM IS STILL THERE (@^$%(@$%(@$%(@$

I also changed the TPS, but no help there either

Even know it's 9:30 PM and I get up at 4:30 am, I think I MIGHT go out there right now and pull the SC, I WILL NOT rest til this is fixed. Dont know what I'm looking for, but it started when I swapped S/C, so I got to eliminate it......

The truck is running great ONCE YOU GET IT GOING
But I have an issue since the SC swap where it boogs down and wont take the gas. I've spend the last two weeks changing and trying everything,
nothing is helping. The usual crappy Dyno #'s 444/583, but I def believe it's spring related now, also the Plug Burning issue. When Sal catches up I hope to swap them out. In the mean time this not taking the pedal is driving me crazy, but hey by the time I'm done eliminating stuff, I'll be able to change those plugs in ten minutes

Ok time to go pull the SC and see what I can find ????

Rob, I take a large fine hone ston to the bottom of my SC/ IC/ and Intake every time I mate them back together. I also inspect the metal gasket for kinks or dents. You can also use a light film of sensor friendly sealer to all the joining areas. I found a broken fuel line on my truck this weekend. I'm gonna make a thread about it tonight.

God Bless,

Suavy

Rob ,have you tried disconnecting the nitrous from the TPS. Maybe you are recieving some kind of short from the nitrous setup to the tps. I would diconnect the electrical part of the nitrous setup and see how it runs. Just a thought.

ya we put pumps in a while ago, thats gonna have to be next to check
SC is off, dont see anything but I'll keep looking ......

EDIT
The Mags back on, and I'm feeling positive
Got to put the upper and everything else back on, maybe in the morning or tommorrow...

EDIT AGAIN

I couldn't go to sleep without me Baby running. She's a purring like a kitten once again, WOO HOO, I'll check it out tommorrow. I found a couple of possibility's by doing this, and now one more item is considered ELIMINATED.

Total EGR System ELIMINATED
TPS Switch ELIMINATED
SuperCharger ELIMINATED
Lets keep the fingers crossed....

Thanks everyone, I know I'm a royal PITA, but all this support really means something, AND IT KEEPS ME GOING.

Yes I checked the Fuel Solenoid, ELIMINATED
N20 TPS Wire "not a possible problem", system is not armed. ELIMINATED

Late Mod, since I already have a fuel line coing off the rail (for the n20), I'll ask Denny to send me some kind of 4an male to something adt and try and get a guage on it soon, I PROMISE....
THANKS AGAIN ALL

You try unhooking the nitrous fuel line to the intake yet? Have you checked fuel pressure yet?

Did you double check the "grounds" on the firewall? I have a sneaky suspension its electrial rather than fuel...........

One other question

You didn't happen to drop the blower during your many swaps? You say you eliminated the blower as a problem and the mounting metal gaskets.
How did you eliminate them?

Sure how you get that truck running strong by Oct!
Btw......
The new BTS trans is in my truck, and it sure is purtty
And it also comes with Brians great customer service

Yes I double checked the grounds

No I did not drop the SC

I ELIMINATED them by now knowing "for sure" nothing out of the ordinary took place, Hence hair line crack in the upper or SC itself, loose bolts, maybe a harness or wire pinched under the case behind it, bla bla bla....

Deep down I knew I wouldn't find anything, but it HAD TO BE ELIMINATED,
I got to look at the rear of the motor without the SC, a place where A LOT of connections and cross overs take place. I made sure nothing back there was out of the norm, I checked a few connectors and lines, hoses etc back there to make sure IT was well. I have the correct and very steady 20 lbs of idle Vac so the gaskets are fine. I did however forget, last time it went on (by mistake) one of the two guides that stick in the bottom of two oversized SC holes. Personally I dont think it matters since the bolt goes in it and centers and seals it like that, but I guess without one guide (in a very oversized hole to fit it in) missing could open the possibility for the SC to be off by a C-Hair. I didnt think it would matter, but I had to put it back in. NO STICKS UNTURNED, I HAVE TO FIND THIS PROBLEM NOW.
I was putting the Ported Eaton away and I noticed ONE was still stuck in the bottom (@#(@$@%$(^@$(@$@$

I was also NOT HAPPY about how the Upper went on last time, and since my problems are the truck doesn't want to take in Fuel, or Air, or Pedal, I had to ELIMINATE the possibility of some kind of INTAKE blockage.

I was doing some reading, and it seems our truck cycle's through series of test on a reg basis, the article also mentioned the driver sometimes feeling something as a result. Like remember how my Brakes come and go, or how the Check Engine light was going off and on last year for months on end, that is all based on the system checking and correcting itself during these test.
GOD I HOPE I READ THAT RIGHT hehehehe

SO I was wondering if during these test it was picking up something and making a correction, hence not allowing pedal input ????

Plus I'm DEF missing a bag of Dorito's, and I had to make sure I didn't leave them in the intercooler galley

We've looked at the in, eventually I must look at the out (exhaust)
We know it's not a filter or injectors, it ran perfect on numerous Dyno Pulls.
What ever is happening started that night, so I had to look at anything diff done that night.

Next I may have to consider there is some kind of freaky defective spark plug in there and ELIMINATE THAT, (new ones were put in that night). We only checked them and put them back in the other night on the Dyno, they were brand new and perfect, no reason to change them, BUT WHAT IF ONE IS DEFECTIVE ???

Off to work I go, and along comes the Lightning......

EDIT
I'm now at work
@*#$@#$*@*#$@*(#$@(#$^@($^%@($^%@(#$@(#$^@(#$^(@$@ $^%@($^@($@($%@($^@%$(@%$(@$%(@#^$(@#$@(#$^%@($^%@ $(^%@#(@^*@#$*@#$@(#$^@*(#$^%@*(#$@*(#$@(#$@(#$@*# $@(#$@(#

Got dam it's 58 degrees out, the trucks running awesome, boost is insane, whine is music to me ears, but 10 minutes into the ride it started again.

did you check these items yet cant overlook these. Reason i say is i had a fuel soleniod stick and the truck went pig rich and died. I put a AN cap on the fuel rail and the truck drove fine untill i rebuilt the solenoid.
