rob,
i still think you should flush your fuel system with that 3m fuel system cleaner that attaches to the schrader valve. I know Jim Kalfakis has the system and I have a full bottle of the cleaner in my house you can use. I should be at Sal's the end of next week picking up some parts for the stang, if you want it just let me know and I will leave it at the shop for you.

Rob,
Have you check for air leaks? Once you have it all together and running start spraying some starting fluid (ether) around the blower, T/B, any critical gasketed joints. If there is a leak the idle should increase as soon as the starting fluid hits it.

Definitely looks like a jar of NY's finest Hydro there.

B-Rock goes in the White Plastic Jug, Hydro in the glass Jar, hehehehe
ok ok JK
I hate to disappoint everyone, but the glass jar is EMPTY, and the white one had DE in it for my filter,
(now by no means am I saying I aint got the NY Hydro hiding elsewhere)

Ok back to the issue on hand
So what is it, and what isnt it ?
I refuse to believe something just happen to go bad the exact sec I restarted the truck that night, I JUST AINT BUYING IT, and yes I'm a gambling man.

SO

Could it be a bad Spark Plug ?
Could it be the new 60lb Injectors ?
Hard to buy either theory because it doesnt do it untill you drive it a while. One would think a Defective Plug or injector would do it ALL THE TIME ?
Or at least SOMETIME when it's just started, THAT IS NEVER THE CASE.
Always only after it's been running a while and or it's hot.
And the truck put down it's usual 450/600 on the dyno and runs perfect other than this issue.

A part of me wants to try putting the STOCK 42lb Injectors back in tonight,
I mean with my crappy HP, schitt it's all I need, and once I start spraying,
it really doesn't matter since it has it's own fuel supply for that anyway.
Again I have to believe it's something that changed THAT NIGHT
With the SC Eliminated, it only leaves the Tune, Plugs, and Injectors.
For the ride home later for lunch, I'll pull the chip here in the parking lot, and hook the switch up, then use an old Eaton Tune or something (I have at least 2 extra tunes with me I can try) and see if it makes any diff ??? Then I'd say the Injectors and Plugs should be next, then I'll try borrowing some Coils and a maf, then then then.....

Somehow I'm staying positive right now, (prob the Hydro, hehehe) but man I cant tell you how old this is getting VERY QUICKLY.
Maybe the stock Injectors will be tonights Elimination

Rob how do you afford to keep replacing densos? put some TR6's in there. This whole situation sucks, your truck was great before on the stock block, ran "built motor" times and you were always making progress. I think you are trying to hard now and just overlooking something simple. Who put the fuel pumps in? problems started around that time right? maybe you cracked that plastic "Y" fitting that others have had problems with? simple check, 2 hours drop the tank and look at it. That POS Plasma booster sucks too, I had it also and and having jdm repair my stock harness before the motor goes in. Vaccum leaks are easy to check for also. My truck was throwing EGR codes when a vaccum line near the egr tube was melted. What Mass air are you running? the extender or sct? try putting the stocker back on? hope you work things out, theres nothing worse than a problem vehicle, or a nice one that you can't drive b/c its having problems. good luck, keep us updated

I'm trying to figure a way to get a fuel guage hooked up, and tonight I WILL disconnect the Fuel Line from the Solenoid. (I'm looking for a 4an male plug now to put in the end of the n20 line coming off the rail)

BUT CHECK THIS OUT
I just drove home for lunch (ya I know it's 3-ish, hehehehe) but first I hooked up a old tune before I left work, AND IT DIDNT DO IT ONCE ON THE RIDE HOME

The tune is no good for this setup I'm sure, so of course I'm keeping the Boost guage under "0" right now. I'll drive it back to work again in a little while, then I will do a few exits on the parkway and a nice ride after work to see if it starts in again.

Somehow I think it will, BUT one never knows........

EDIT AGAIN

Oh God, so far so good, I'm back at work (ya I know I take a late AND LONG lunch ; o ) Hasnt done it once on the ride home, and back

Well I'll be dipped in schitt, the SOB aint done it once and I burnt a good 3/8 of a tank of gas, WOO HOO....

I am however on a program I CAN NOT and SHOULD NOT be using, and amof it just threw a code a few seconds ago as I was rolling up my block.
Prob lean as schitt, I can smell the Cat's for the first time ever, and that's without going past "0" once on the guage. This is my old Eaton Nitrous Program for 50lb Injectors and Locked Timing, def not safe to use with the Mag and 60's I'm sure, but as said I have done NO BOOST at all.

I'd like to say PROBLEM FOUND
but I'm going to stay neutral till I speak to Sal and get the right program fixed. One thing is for sure I drove 3 times the amount I usually do WITHOUT it doing it once

You know what, I AM going to celebrate, I deserve it

Rob, glad you may have found the problem, but you can't really be sure if it is the problem if you aren't getting into the boost? you are not under the same condition that it has been happening. hope Sal can figure it out.

No no no, The truck ran AMAZING at WOT ALL THE TIME
The problem was it wouldn't take the pedal from a dead stop, you would have to roll out on idle and feather it and then all of a sudden wam it was fine.
IT WAS NEVER A PROBLEM GETTING INTO IT, only trying to start

God I feel positive,

and a little funny

Belive me I know
Sal is CRAZY busy and DOES NOT have time for unscheduled work like me and my problems right now, EVERYONE is trying to get their L ready for Fall Racing ; o ). If he wasnt minutes away I'd be in deep schitt. But of course he's NEVER deserted me either, so rather than wait for him to find time, my way of helping is to try and stay out of his shop and do all nut and bolt work here at home and then just have him work his magic a hour or three here and there.

I owe him a lot for all he's done for me, THANKS SAL
I'm not looking at this as the trouble is over, instead it's PIN POINTED. Now the trick is to figure out if we got a bad computer, bad position on the Chip, bad Chip, bad connection, something. Cause the program he made me runs amazing, dyno'd perfect, but for some reason seems to not like right turns or easy starts, hehehehehe

Ah WTF, I got more pratice in SC removal and installation, and now I can change plugs easier than ever before with no EGR crap, woo woo woo woo
