spanky, I have the Crower stage 3s with .618 lift int&exh and sss solid lifters, though they rock my truck back and forth at idle, I love them, they also give me plenty of bottom end. At tip in to half throttle the truck launches like a raped apeman. Unbelievable, I believe its the tune from JDM thats doing it. They are a tight fit, I have 80 thousanths clearance on the intake and 120 thousanths on the exhaust due to my heads being milled 26 thousanths. Pete

Suavy - I hate to tell you, but these heads have the same problem as the early Patriots. The valve guides have been shorted and now are too short to control axial valve movement and this quickly wears out the valve guides. You will find you have only about one inch of valve guide left and oil consumption will soon be high and valve seats and valve will be eroded by poor valve control. New, full length valve guides are needed.
