Heat cycle Hoosiers?

Heat cycle Hoosiers?
Are you supposed to heat cycle brand new Hoosier Quick Time Pros or not? What is the correct proceedure? I know with the Mickey THompson ET Street tires the manufacturer recommends a big smokey burnout and then to immediately let them sit a couple days? Can't find any definitive info on these Hoosiers.

Heat cycling is almost a farce, to the point that I emailed a place that does it, and they said on a normal street tire it "may" extend the life by 3-4k miles. I was like, WTF!? The molecular-shmolecular gobbley-de-gook crap they say is (in my opinion) a way to get some $15-$20/tire out of you.
Do a proper burnout and you will be fine. Same basic principle as slicks.

a. make your tires stickier
b. last longer
c. change the molecular structure of the rubber.
Post if you just have an opinion, but no bad tech, please.

Stickier? Road surface or track preparation make much more of a difference.
What I gave was an opinion. Bad tech? That's also your opinion.
There's a sucker born every minute......
I'll keep my $15-$20 per tire before paying for abstract techno jargon.
I'll guess you sell tires......
If not, then I'm sorry. Want to buy the Brooklyn bridge?

The kind of heat cycling I was referring to would be like a 15-20 sec burnout then put them up for 48hrs. I already have the tires so I'm not having it done by a third party. I was wondering if there was any real benefit from doing a couple smokey burnouts at the track vs one in my driveway and then letting them sit What would you recommend SVT_KY?

The entire Paul Haney article was great ... I think there were three or four segments. Of course, you should buy the book if you really need to know about tires. < grin >
On slicks, I would always run them unidirectional and drive with them at about 12 lbs of pressure to heat them up a bit... 15 minutes should do it ...
If you have a pyrometer, they say temps of 180* are about right.... Just
barely too hot to lay your hand on them. Then get them off and bagged
for 48 hours.
