Cecil Today!

I want to say Congrats To Dave London on his personal best today 10.6 @130 with 1.65 60 ft! the track was just tooo cold for any good #'s...Big Bob went 10.50 @ 132 with a 1.72 60 ft! Russ went 10.6 @ 131 with a 1.69 60 ft! Congrats to sue my wife with her H/D truck it took the #1 spot today with a 11.66 @ 118.5 with a stock tranny, converter, and the 20's up front! i couldn't hook my truck either but did manage a few 9 sec passes! ..The 2004 season is over for us now,but we look forward to the 2005 season! The truck is getting major suspension work done, along with being chopped 4",4-linked,tubbed....ect.. we should loos 400-500 more #'s for a total weight of 3,600-3,700 with me in it! We hope to see low 1.3 to high 1.2 60 fts!..If all comes together we should see a 8 sec. Gen 2 lightning next year! ...We wish Everybody a MerryChristmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!...we will be posting some Christmas specials here next week!.... JL

There were a lot of great times, especially since traction was limited...to say the least. It was good to see everyone again, probably the last time for this race season. Winter sucks, but it is nice to get a break for the holidays. Also it's a good time to get some minor, or in Johnny's case, major work done. Your truck is going to be sick next year..time for an update bar and possibly a chute.

Congrats, Johnny!! Excellent to see consistant 9's out of a Gen2...

I, myself, was going for a 9sec pass today... but, once again, I lost a set of head-gaskets... My combination of boost / nitrous must be especially stressful on the motor

Nice Runs Johnny. I think next Year will be Very Exciting to say the Least! There should be multiple Trucks in the 8 Second Range come Lightningfest. I'm hoping that You & I can have some Heads Up Racing Next Year @ Cecil & maybe some NMRA Action. This should attract Alot of Fans. I'm Happy for You & Charlie. You Guys are Both Class Guys.
